The cherubim are to have their wings spread upward, overshadowing the cover with them. The cherubim are to face each other, looking toward the cover.

夢有梯立於地、頂及於天、上帝之使、陟降其上、

彼得啟示、非為己、乃為爾曹而役斯事、即今宣福音者、賴自天所遣之聖神、告爾此事也、天使亦欲詳察之、○

彼為諸政諸權之首、爾曹亦由之而得充盛、

彼已昇天在上帝右、凡天使與有權有能者咸服之、

生物隨神所欲而往、輪亦起行、蓋生物之神在其輪中、

我思上帝、置我儕使徒於末、如擬死者然、作劇於世、為天使與人所觀、

至聖所內、按作像法、製基路伯二、包之以金、

以金用鏇法作基路伯二、置施恩座之兩端、

我又見於座與生物及長老四周之眾使者、其數萬萬千千、聞其大聲曰、見殺之羔、堪得其能、其富、其智、其力、其尊、其榮、其頌、

烏西雅王崩之年、我見主坐於崇高之位、衣裾充滿殿宇、撒拉弗侍立其側、各有六翼、以二翼蔽面、二翼覆足、二翼飛翔、交相呼曰、聖哉、聖哉、聖哉、萬軍之耶和華、其榮充乎寰宇、門閾之基、因呼者之聲而震動、室盈以煙、我曰、禍哉我也、亡矣、我乃脣穢之人、居於脣穢民中、而目睹大君、萬軍之耶和華也、
