必使多民愕然而興起、君王因之而箝口、未示之者、必得觀之、未聞之者、必得悟之、

復取膏、及壇上之血、灑於亞倫及其子之身與衣、區別其身與衣為聖、

我儕於彼因其血而得贖、即罪之赦、依上帝洪恩也、

故前約之立、非不以血也、蓋摩西既依律言諸誡於民、則取犢與羊之血、並水、與絳綿、牛膝草、灑其書以及諸民、曰、此乃上帝所命爾約之血、又以血灑幕及供事之器、
