Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded,“ We will do everything the Lord has said; we will obey.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient.”

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey all that the LORD has commanded.”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it as the people listened; and they said,“ All that the Lord has spoken we will do, and we will be obedient!”

Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said,“ All that the Lord has said we will do, and be obedient.”

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that Jehovah hath spoken will we do, and be obedient.

He then took the covenant scroll and read it aloud to the people. They responded,“ We will do and obey everything that the Lord has commanded.”

And he took the book of the covenant, and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.

He took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people, and they said,“ We are willing to do and obey all that the LORD has spoken.”

He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said,“ We will do all that Yahweh has said, and be obedient.”

摩西來到，將永恆主的一切話、一切典章、都向人民敘說；眾民都齊聲答應說：『永恆主所說的話、我們都要遵行。』摩西將永恆主的一切話都寫上，清早起來，在山下築了一座祭壇，按以色列的十二族派立十二根聖柱。

以色列眾人來到永恆主你的上帝所選擇的地方朝見他，那時你要當着以色列眾人面前將這律法誦讀給他們聽。你要召集人民、男女幼小、和你城內的寄居者，叫他們聽，叫他們學習敬畏永恆主你們的上帝，謹慎遵行「這律法」的一切話，也叫他們那些未曾明曉這律法的兒女得以聽，儘你們在過約但河去取得為業的土地上活着的日子、得以學習敬畏永恆主你們的上帝。』

所以就是先前的約也不是沒有用血開創的。當時各條誡命既由摩西按照律法向眾民宣講了，他就拿牛犢山羊的血，用水和朱紅絨跟牛膝草、灑在那書卷上，並且灑在眾民身上，說：『這就是上帝向你們立誡命的約之血』。就是帳幕和禮拜用的一切器皿，他也照樣地用血灑。其實幾乎可以說，按照律法，凡物都是用血潔淨的：沒有流血的事，就沒有赦免的事。這樣，天上之事的仿本既然必須用這些禮節來潔淨，那天上的本物自然必須用比這些更好的祭獻去潔淨了。

我只吩咐他們以下這一件，說：「你們要聽我的聲音，我就做你們的上帝，你們就做我的子民；你們要行我所吩咐你們的一切道路，好得平安順遂。」但他們卻不聽從，不傾耳以聽，竟憑着自己的計謀，隨自己頑強之壞心思而行，向後而不向前。

我指着主誓囑你們、要把這書信宣讀給眾弟兄聽。

律法和神言人的書宣讀了以後，會堂管事們就差遣人到他們跟前說：『同人弟兄們，你們心裏若有甚麼要向民眾勸勉的話，請說。』

這書信在你們中間宣讀完了之後、要設法在老底嘉教會中也宣讀；並設法讓你們也宣讀從老底嘉轉來的我那書信。
