He said to the elders,“ Wait here for us until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you, and anyone involved in a dispute can go to them.”

摩西对长老说：“你们在这里等着，等到我们再回来，有亚伦、户珥与你们同在。凡有争讼的，都可以就近他们去。”

摩西对长老们说：“你们在这里等我们，直到我们再回到你们这里。看哪，亚伦和户珥与你们同在。谁有诉讼，可以去找他们。”

先告諸長老曰、爾曹處此、以待我反、爾有亞倫戶珥同在、有訟者可詣之、

未登之先、告諸長老曰、爾曹處此、待我反、爾有亞倫戶耳在、人有訟事、可往諮諏。

未登之先、謂長老曰、爾曹在此、待我儕返、有亞倫戶珥偕爾、人有訟事、可至其前、

He said to the elders,“ Wait for us here until we come back to you. Aaron and Hur are with you. Anyone who has a problem can go to them.”

And he said to the elders,“ Wait here for us until we return to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever has a dispute, let him go to them.”

Moses told the elders,“ Stay here and wait for us until we come back. Aaron and Hur are here with you. If anyone has a dispute while I am gone, consult with them.”

He told the elders,“ Wait here for us until we return to you. Aaron and Hur are here with you. Whoever has a dispute should go to them.”

But to the elders he said,“ Wait here for us until we return to you. And behold, Aaron and Hur are with you; whoever has a legal matter, have him approach them.”

And he said to the elders,“ Wait here for us until we come back to you. Indeed, Aaron and Hur are with you. If any man has a difficulty, let him go to them.”

And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur are with you: whosoever hath a cause, let him come near unto them.

He told the elders,“ Wait here for us until we return to you. Aaron and Hur are here with you. Whoever has a dispute should go to them.”

And he said unto the elders, Tarry ye here for us, until we come again unto you: and, behold, Aaron and Hur[ are] with you: if any man have any matters to do, let him come unto them.

He told the elders,“ Wait for us in this place until we return to you. Here are Aaron and Hur with you. Whoever has any matters of dispute can approach them.”

He said to the elders,“ Wait here for us, until we come again to you. Behold, Aaron and Hur are with you. Whoever is involved in a dispute can go to them.”

So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill.

When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up— one on one side, one on the other— so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

He said to his servants,“ Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you.”

When the people saw that Moses was so long in coming down from the mountain, they gathered around Aaron and said,“ Come, make us gods who will go before us. As for this fellow Moses who brought us up out of Egypt, we don’t know what has happened to him.”

He waited seven days, the time set by Samuel; but Samuel did not come to Gilgal, and Saul’s men began to scatter.So he said,“ Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings.” And Saul offered up the burnt offering.Just as he finished making the offering, Samuel arrived, and Saul went out to greet him.“ What have you done?” asked Samuel. Saul replied,“ When I saw that the men were scattering, and that you did not come at the set time, and that the Philistines were assembling at Mikmash,I thought,‘ Now the Philistines will come down against me at Gilgal, and I have not sought the Lord’s favor.’ So I felt compelled to offer the burnt offering.”“ You have done a foolish thing,” Samuel said.“ You have not kept the command the Lord your God gave you; if you had, he would have established your kingdom over Israel for all time.

“ Go down ahead of me to Gilgal. I will surely come down to you to sacrifice burnt offerings and fellowship offerings, but you must wait seven days until I come to you and tell you what you are to do.”

He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens.They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided themselves.
