“ I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.

This shall be your northern border.‘ You shall mark out your eastern border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain; the border shall go down and reach to the eastern side of the Sea of Chinnereth;the border shall go down along the Jordan, and it shall end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land with its surrounding boundaries.’”Then Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying:“ This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which the Lord has commanded to give to the nine tribes and to the half-tribe.For the tribe of the children of Reuben according to the house of their fathers, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to the house of their fathers, have received their inheritance; and the half-tribe of Manasseh has received its inheritance.The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance on this side of the Jordan, across from Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise.”

Then Judah went up, and the Lord delivered the Canaanites and the Perizzites into their hand; and they killed ten thousand men at Bezek.

And the Lord God of Israel delivered Sihon and all his people into the hand of Israel, and they defeated them. Thus Israel gained possession of all the land of the Amorites, who inhabited that country.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, And from the River to the ends of the earth.

And the Lord drove out from before us all the people, including the Amorites who dwelt in the land. We also will serve the Lord, for He is our God.”

For he had dominion over all the region on this side of the River from Tiphsah even to Gaza, namely over all the kings on this side of the River; and he had peace on every side all around him.

So Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.

I sent the hornet before you which drove them out from before you, also the two kings of the Amorites, but not with your sword or with your bow.

Then the Lord said to Joshua,“ Stretch out the spear that is in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand.” And Joshua stretched out the spear that was in his hand toward the city.

Suddenly a prophet approached Ahab king of Israel, saying,“ Thus says the Lord:‘ Have you seen all this great multitude? Behold, I will deliver it into your hand today, and you shall know that I am the Lord.’”

“ Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.

And the Lord said to me,‘ Do not fear him, for I have delivered him and all his people and his land into your hand; you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.’

And do not stay there yourselves, but pursue your enemies, and attack their rear guard. Do not allow them to enter their cities, for the Lord your God has delivered them into your hand.”

Then you shall rise from the ambush and seize the city, for the Lord your God will deliver it into your hand.

And the Lord said to Joshua,“ Do not fear them, for I have delivered them into your hand; not a man of them shall stand before you.”

Then David inquired of the Lord once again. And the Lord answered him and said,“ Arise, go down to Keilah. For I will deliver the Philistines into your hand.”

And I brought you into the land of the Amorites, who dwelt on the other side of the Jordan, and they fought with you. But I gave them into your hand, that you might possess their land, and I destroyed them from before you.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Do not fear him, for I have delivered him into your hand, with all his people and his land; and you shall do to him as you did to Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.”
