“ I will establish your borders from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will give into your hands the people who live in the land, and you will drive them out before you.

“ I will make your borders secure from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea. They will go from the desert to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people who live in the land. You will drive them out to make room for yourselves.

And I will set your border from the Red Sea to the Sea of the Philistines, and from the wilderness to the Euphrates, for I will give the inhabitants of the land into your hand, and you shall drive them out before you.

And I will fix your boundaries from the Red Sea to the Mediterranean Sea, and from the eastern wilderness to the Euphrates River. I will hand over to you the people now living in the land, and you will drive them out ahead of you.

從南部的曠野直到北部的黎巴嫩，從東部的幼發拉底大河直到西部的地中海，包括赫人居住的全境，都將是你們的領土。

耶和華照著給他們祖先的應許，使他們四境安寧，沒有仇敵能抵擋他們。耶和華將所有仇敵都交在了他們手中。

「南部疆界從荀曠野沿著以東邊界延伸，東起死海的盡頭，往南至亞克拉濱坡南面，經荀直到加低斯·巴尼亞南面，再延伸至哈薩·亞達，經押們，轉向埃及河，直到地中海。「西部以地中海為界。「北部疆界從地中海開始直到何珥山，再到哈馬口，經西達達、西斐崙直到哈薩·以難。「東部疆界從哈薩·以難一直劃到示番，往南到亞延東面的利比拉，再往南到基尼烈湖東岸。然後沿約旦河南下直到死海。這是你們國土四面的疆界。」摩西又對以色列人說：「這就是耶和華吩咐用抽籤的方式分給你們九個半支派的土地。呂便支派和迦得支派已經按著宗族得到了他們的土地，瑪拿西半個支派也得到了土地。這兩個半支派的土地在耶利哥對面的約旦河東岸。」

猶大人攻打迦南人和比利洗人，耶和華使他們得勝，在比色殺了一萬敵軍。

但以色列的上帝耶和華幫助以色列人戰勝西宏和他的軍隊，佔領了他們所有的土地，

願他的疆域橫跨洋海，從幼發拉底河直到地極。

耶和華把這地方的亞摩利人等外族人從我們面前趕走了，我們必事奉祂，因為祂是我們的上帝。」

所羅門統治幼發拉底河西面所有的國家，從提弗薩直到迦薩，四境安寧。

所羅門統管列國，從幼發拉底河至非利士，直到埃及邊界。所羅門在世的日子，列國都年年進貢稱臣。

我差黃蜂飛在你們前面，把亞摩利的兩個王從你們面前趕走，沒有動用你們一刀一弓。

耶和華對約書亞說：「把你手中的矛指向艾城，因為我要將這城交在你手裡。」約書亞就把手中的矛指向艾城。

一位先知來見以色列王亞哈，說：「耶和華說，『你看見這大隊人馬了嗎？今天我必將他們交在你手裡，這樣你就知道我是耶和華。』」

「我快要走完人世的路程了。你們深知你們的上帝耶和華賜給你們的一切美好應許沒有一句落空，都已經應驗了。

耶和華對我說，『不要怕他，因為我已把他及其眾民和土地交在你手中，你要像從前對付希實本的亞摩利王西宏一樣對付他。』

你們不可停下來，要繼續追殺敵人，不要讓他們逃回城，你們的上帝耶和華已經把他們交在你們手中了。」

那時，你們便從埋伏的地方衝出來攻佔艾城，你們的上帝耶和華一定會把艾城交在你們手裡。

耶和華對約書亞說：「不要害怕，我已經把他們交在你手中，他們沒有一人能抵擋你。」

大衛再求問耶和華，耶和華答道：「到基伊拉去吧，我一定把非利士人交在你手裡。」

我領你們來到約旦河東邊亞摩利人居住的地方。他們跟你們爭戰，我把他們交在你們手中，使你們佔領他們的土地作自己的產業。我把他們從你們面前全部消滅。

耶和華對摩西說：「不要怕他，因為我已把他及其眾民和土地交在你手中。你要像從前對付希實本的亞摩利王西宏一樣對付他。」
