“ Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you give testimony in a lawsuit, do not pervert justice by siding with the crowd,

You shall not fall in with the many to do evil, nor shall you bear witness in a lawsuit, siding with the many, so as to pervert justice,

“ You must not follow the crowd in doing wrong. When you are called to testify in a dispute, do not be swayed by the crowd to twist justice.

“ You must not follow a crowd in wrongdoing. Do not testify in a lawsuit and go along with a crowd to pervert justice.

彼拉多想要討好眾人，就給他們釋放了巴拉巴，然後將耶穌鞭打了，把他交出去釘上十字架。

他們當中有一個人，就是原先來到耶穌那裡的尼克迪莫，對他們說：「如果不先聽本人的口供，並且了解他做了什麼，我們的律法就定不了他的罪，難道不是嗎？」

如果這樣，我兒啊，不要與他們走同一條道路，要禁止你的腳走他們的路，

彼拉多知道自己無濟於事，反而騷亂倒要發生，就拿水在眾人面前洗手，說：「流這人的血，罪不在我，你們自己看著辦吧！」全體民眾都回答說：「他的血歸在我們和我們兒女的身上！」於是彼拉多給他們釋放了巴拉巴，然後將耶穌鞭打了，把他交出去釘上十字架。

他們催逼彼拉多，大聲要求把耶穌釘上十字架，他們的喊聲終於得勝了。於是，彼拉多決定成全他們所求的，

我兒啊，如果罪人引誘你，你不要順從！如果他們說：「你與我們一起去吧，讓我們埋伏，殺人流血，任意設伏攻擊清白的人，

你不要進入惡人的路途，也不要走上邪惡的道路；

過了兩年，波奇烏菲斯特斯接替菲利克斯。菲利克斯想要討好猶太人，就把保羅留在監獄裡。

人雖然知道神的公義規定是：行這樣事的人是該死的；然而他們不僅自己去做，還贊同做這些事的人。

說：「我的兄弟們，請你們不要這樣作惡。看哪，我有兩個女兒，還沒有與男人同寢，容我把她們帶出來給你們，你們看怎樣好，就怎樣對待她們吧。只是不要對這兩個人做什麼，因為他們來到了我屋檐的蔭庇下。」但他們說：「滾開！」又說：「這人來寄居，竟然把自己當成審判官了！我們要惡待你，比惡待他們更厲害。」於是他們極力推擠羅得，上前要破門而入。

但掃羅和軍兵顧惜亞甲和上好的牛羊、肥牛犢、羊羔以及一切美好的東西，不願意把這些滅絕淨盡；至於一切輕賤的、沒有價值的東西，他們都滅絕淨盡。

神觀看大地，看哪，它已經敗壞了，因為一切血肉之軀在地上的行為都敗壞了！

這個人並沒有贊同他們的計劃和行為；他是猶太的亞利馬太城的人，一直期待著神的國。

願他以公義審斷你的子民，以公正審斷屬你的困苦人；

耶和華對挪亞說：「你和你的全家都要進入方舟，因為在這世代中，我看到唯有你在我面前是義人。

不過磯法來到安提阿的時候，我曾當面抵擋他，因為他有該責備的地方。原來，從雅各那裡來的一些人到達之前，磯法與外邦人一起吃飯；可是那些人一到，他因為怕那些割禮派的人，就退縮，與外邦人分開了。其餘的猶太人也跟著他裝假，以致連巴拿巴也被他們的偽善引入歧途。

他們還沒有躺下睡覺，那城裡的人，就是所多瑪的男人，無論老少，所有人都從各處來圍住了羅得的屋子。

但菲斯特斯想要討好猶太人，就問保羅說：「你願意上耶路撒冷，讓我在那裡審判這些事嗎？」
