如以金或什物、託鄰守之、被盜所竊、盜者見獲、償之維倍、

“人若将银钱或家具交付邻舍看守，这物从那人的家被偷去，若把贼找到了，贼要加倍赔还；

“人若将银钱或物件托邻舍保管，东西从这人的家中被偷去，若找到了贼，贼要加倍赔偿；

“人若将银钱或物件托邻舍保管，东西从这人的家中被偷去，若找到了贼，贼要加倍赔偿；

“倘若有人把金钱或物件交给邻居保管，邻居家遭盗，盗贼被缉拿归案后要赔偿双倍；

“如果人把银子或家中物件交给邻舍看守，这些东西从那人的家被偷去；如果把窃贼抓到了，窃贼就要双倍偿还。

“ If anyone gives a neighbor silver or goods for safekeeping and they are stolen from the neighbor’s house, the thief, if caught, must pay back double.
