蓋彼蔽體只有此衣、無之何以安寢、我乃仁慈、彼籲於我、我必聞之、○

彼以衣蔽體、無此則不能安寢、蓋我以矜憫為懷、彼若籲我、我必俯聽。

彼但有此衣、用以蔽體、若不反之、何以安寢、我以矜憫為懷、彼若呼籲我、我必俯聽、○

because that cloak is the only covering your neighbor has. What else can they sleep in? When they cry out to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

That coat is the only thing your neighbor owns to wear or sleep in. When they cry out to me, I will listen, because I am loving and kind.

for that is his only covering, and it is his cloak for his body; in what else shall he sleep? And if he cries to me, I will hear, for I am compassionate.

This coat may be the only blanket your neighbor has. How can a person sleep without it? If you do not return it and your neighbor cries out to me for help, then I will hear, for I am merciful.

耶和华在他面前宣告说：“耶和华，耶和华，是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实，

你们若转向耶和华，你们的弟兄和儿女必在掳掠他们的人面前蒙怜恤，得以归回这地，因为耶和华你们的神有恩典、施怜悯。你们若转向他，他必不转脸不顾你们。”

称谢那击杀埃及人之长子的，因他的慈爱永远长存。他领以色列人从他们中间出来，因他的慈爱永远长存。

因为，穷乏人呼求的时候，他要搭救；没有人帮助的困苦人，他也要搭救。

主啊，你是有怜悯有恩典的神，不轻易发怒，并有丰盛的慈爱和诚实。

若是苦待他们一点，他们向我一哀求，我总要听他们的哀声，

我这困苦人呼求，耶和华便垂听，救我脱离一切患难。

过了多年，埃及王死了。以色列人因做苦工，就叹息哀求，他们的哀声达于神。神听见他们的哀声，就记念他与亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各所立的约。

这都要在埃及地为万军之耶和华作记号和证据。埃及人因为受人的欺压哀求耶和华，他就差遣一位救主作护卫者，拯救他们。
