求你向他们倾泻你的愤怒，愿你猛烈的怒气追上他们。

谁明白你怒气的威力呢？谁按着你该受的敬畏，明白你的盛怒呢？

可是你照着顽固和不悔改的心，为那震怒的日子，就是神公义审判显现的日子，给自己积蓄了震怒。神将照着各人的行为回报各人：对那些恒心行善，寻求荣耀、尊贵、不朽的，就以永恒的生命回报他们；而对那些营私争竞、不肯信从真理、反信从不义的，就以震怒和愤恨回报他们。神要把患难和困苦加给一切作恶之人的灵魂，先是犹太人的，后是外邦人的；

青年人被火吞噬，处女没有喜歌。祭司倒在刀下，寡妇却不能哭泣。

你们要给与，就会被赐予，而且用十足的量器，连摇带按、满满当当地倒在你们怀里，因为，你们用什么量器来衡量，也会同样地被衡量。”

唯独你是可畏的！你的怒气一旦发作，谁能在你面前站立得住呢？

落在永生神的手中实在可怕。
