“ Now suppose someone leaves a donkey, ox, sheep, or any other animal with a neighbor for safekeeping, but it dies or is injured or is taken away, and no one sees what happened.

“人若将驴，或牛，或羊，或别的牲畜，交付邻舍看守，牲畜或死，或受伤，或被赶去，无人看见，

“人将驴、牛、羊，或别的牲畜托邻舍看管，若牲畜死亡，受了伤，或被抢走，无人看见，

“人将驴、牛、羊，或别的牲畜托邻舍看管，若牲畜死亡，受了伤，或被抢走，无人看见，

倘若有人把驴、牛、羊或别的牲畜交给邻居看管，牲畜死伤或被人抢走，并且无人看见，

“如果人把驴、牛、羊，或是任何牲畜交给邻舍看守，牲畜死亡、受伤，或是被赶去，又没有人看见，

「人若將驢，或牛，或羊，或別的牲畜，交付鄰舍看守，牲畜或死，或受傷，或被趕去，無人看見，

「人將驢、牛、羊，或別的牲畜託鄰舍看管，若牲畜死亡，受了傷，或被搶走，無人看見，

「人將驢、牛、羊，或別的牲畜託鄰舍看管，若牲畜死亡，受了傷，或被搶走，無人看見，

倘若有人把驢、牛、羊或別的牲畜交給鄰居看管，牲畜死傷或被人搶走，並且無人看見，

“如果人把驢、牛、羊，或是任何牲畜交給鄰舍看守，牲畜死亡、受傷，或是被趕去，又沒有人看見，

『人若將驢或牛、或羊、或任何牲口、給鄰舍看守；牲畜或是死、或是折傷、或是被趕走，沒有人看見，

如以驢、或牛羊、或他畜、託鄰守之、或死傷、或被驅、別無人見、

如以牛羊驢畜、托友守之、或死傷、或被攘、別無人見、

人若以驢、或牛、或羊、及他畜、託人代守、或死、或傷、或被攘、並無人見、

“ If anyone gives a donkey, an ox, a sheep or any other animal to their neighbor for safekeeping and it dies or is injured or is taken away while no one is looking,

“ Suppose someone asks their neighbor to take care of a donkey, ox, sheep or any other animal. And suppose the animal dies or gets hurt. Or suppose it is stolen while no one is looking.

“ If a man gives to his neighbor a donkey or an ox or a sheep or any beast to keep safe, and it dies or is injured or is driven away, without anyone seeing it,

“ When a man gives his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any other animal to care for, but it dies, is injured, or is stolen, while no one is watching,

“ If someone gives his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep for him, and it dies or is injured or is driven away while no one is looking,

If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies, is hurt, or driven away, no one seeing it,

If a man deliver unto his neighbor an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing it:

“ When a man gives his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any other animal to care for, but it dies, is injured, or is stolen, while no one is watching,

If a man deliver unto his neighbour an ass, or an ox, or a sheep, or any beast, to keep; and it die, or be hurt, or driven away, no man seeing[ it]:

If a man gives his neighbor a donkey or an ox or a sheep or any beast to keep, and it dies or is hurt or is carried away without anyone seeing it,

“ If a man delivers to his neighbor a donkey, an ox, a sheep, or any animal to keep, and it dies or is injured, or driven away, no man seeing it;

And if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven?

But Joseph refused.“ Look,” he told her,“ my master trusts me with everything in his entire household.

That is why I am suffering here in prison. But I am not ashamed of it, for I know the one in whom I trust, and I am sure that he is able to guard what I have entrusted to him until the day of his return.

But someone who does not know, and then does something wrong, will be punished only lightly. When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required.
