倘若有人把女兒賣為奴婢，她不可像男僕那樣離開。

如果有人把女兒賣作婢女，婢女不可像男僕那樣出去。

『人若賣女兒做使女，使女不能像男的奴僕那樣出去。

如人鬻女為婢、則弗釋之、不與僕同、

如人鬻女為婢、則不得釋、不與僕同。

人若鬻女為婢、則毋若奴一例而釋、

“ And if a man sells his daughter to be a female slave, she shall not go out as the male slaves do.

And if a man sell his daughter to be a maid- servant, she shall not go out as the men- servants do.

“ When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she is not to leave as the male slaves do.

And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

“ If a man sells his daughter as a female servant, she will not go out as the male servants do.

“ If a man sells his daughter to be a female servant, she shall not go out as the male servants do.

We and our children are just like our countrymen and their children, yet we are subjecting our sons and daughters to slavery. Some of our daughters are already enslaved, but we are powerless because our fields and vineyards belong to others.”

“ When you buy a Hebrew slave, he is to serve for six years; then in the seventh he is to leave as a free man without paying anything.If he arrives alone, he is to leave alone; if he arrives with a wife, his wife is to leave with him.
