于是摩西对以色列的审判官说：“你们各人要把与巴力．毗珥连合的人都杀了。”摩西和以色列全体会众在会幕门口哭泣的时候，以色列人中有一个人来，当着他们的面带了一个米甸女子到自己的兄弟那里去。亚伦祭司的孙子、以利亚撒的儿子非尼哈看见了，就从会众中起来，手里拿着枪，跟着那以色列人，进入卧室，把他们两人刺透，就是刺透那以色列人和那女子。枪刺进了那女子的肚腹。这样，在以色列人中的瘟疫才止住。

城中的领袖都是咆哮的狮子，城中的审判官是夜间的豺狼，什么都不留到早晨。

“地不可永远卖掉，因为地是我的；你们在我面前不过是寄居的和客旅。

“如果人彼此争斗，击伤了怀孕的妇人，以致流产，但没有别的损害，那伤害她的必须按照妇人的丈夫要求的，和照着审判官断定的，缴纳罚款。

亚吉相信了大卫，心里说：“他在自己的族人以色列中留下了臭名，他必永远作我的仆人了。”

因为在那一夜我要走遍埃及地，把埃及地所有头生的，无论是人或是牲畜，都要杀掉；我也要审判埃及的一切神祇，我是耶和华。

长老对他说：“今天如果王作这民的仆人，服事他们，用好话回答他们，他们就常作王的仆人。”

“在耶和华你的神赐给你的各城里，你要按着各支派设立审判官和官长；他们要按着公义的判断审判人民。

“不可咒骂神，也不可咒诅你人民的领袖。

撒母耳年老的时候，立了他的儿子作以色列人的士师。他的长子名叫约珥，次子名叫亚比亚，都在别是巴作士师。

“那时，我吩咐你们的审判官，说：‘你们在兄弟中听讼，无论是兄弟彼此诉讼，或是与同居的外地人诉讼，都要按着公义审判。

哈拿却没有上去，因为她对丈夫说：“等孩子断了奶，我才带他去朝见耶和华。他要永远住在那里。”

你要从人民中间选出有才能的人，就是敬畏神、忠实可信、恨恶不义之财的人，设立他们作千夫长、百夫长、五十夫长、十夫长，去管理人民，使他们随时可以审判人民的案件；所有大事件，他们要带到你这里来；所有小事件，他们可以自己审判。这样，你就轻省些，他们也可以和你一同分担此事。你若是这样行，神也这样吩咐你，你就能站立得住，所有的人民也都能平平安安地归回自己的地方。”于是，摩西听从他岳父的话，照着他所说的行了。摩西从全体以色列人中选出了有才能的人，立他们作人民的首领，作千夫长、百夫长、五十夫长、十夫长。他们随时审判人民的案件；有困难的事件，他们就带到摩西那里；所有小事件，由他们自己审判。

祭品和礼物不是你喜悦的。你开通了我的耳朵；燔祭和赎罪祭，不是你要求的。那时我说：“看哪！我来了，经卷上已经记载我的事；我的神啊！我乐意遵行你的旨意；你的律法常在我的心里。”

我必恢复你的审判官，像起初一样；也必恢复你的谋士，像起先一般；以后，你必称为公义的城、忠贞的城。”
