“ If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, the man shall surely be punished.

“ Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result,

“ Suppose a person beats their male or female slave to death with a club. That person must be punished.

“ When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged.

“ If a man beats his male or female slave with a club and the slave dies as a result, the owner must be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

“ And if someone strikes his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies at his hand, he shall be punished.

“ And if a man beats his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall surely be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

“ If a man strikes his male servant or his female servant with a staff so that he or she dies as a result of the blow, he will surely be punished.

for he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn’t bear the sword in vain; for he is a servant of God, an avenger for wrath to him who does evil.

Yahweh said to him,“ Therefore whoever slays Cain, vengeance will be taken on him sevenfold.” Yahweh appointed a sign for Cain, so that anyone finding him would not strike him.

Whoever sheds man’s blood, his blood will be shed by man, for God made man in his own image.

A servant can’t be corrected by words. Though he understands, yet he will not respond.

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death. When he meets him, he shall put him to death.

“‘ Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be slain based on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness shall not testify alone against any person so that he dies.“‘ Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death. He shall surely be put to death.“‘ You shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.“‘ So you shall not pollute the land where you live; for blood pollutes the land. No atonement can be made for the land, for the blood that is shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it.
