『人若用棍子擊打奴僕或使女，以致奴僕死在他手下，他一定必須受刑罰。

“人若用棍子打奴仆或婢女，立时死在他的手下，他必要受刑。

“人若用棍子打奴仆或婢女，当场死在他的手下，他必受报应。

“人若用棍子打奴仆或婢女，当场死在他的手下，他必受报应。

“倘若有人用棍子打他的仆婢，导致他们当场死亡，他必须受惩罚。

“如果有人用棍打他的奴仆或婢女，以致死在他的手下，他必须受刑罚；

人若以杖擊奴婢、死於手下、必受刑、

“ Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result,

“ Suppose a person beats their male or female slave to death with a club. That person must be punished.

“ When a man strikes his slave, male or female, with a rod and the slave dies under his hand, he shall be avenged.

“ If a man beats his male or female slave with a club and the slave dies as a result, the owner must be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

“ And if someone strikes his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies at his hand, he shall be punished.

“ And if a man beats his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall surely be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

“ If a man strikes his male servant or his female servant with a staff so that he or she dies as a result of the blow, he will surely be punished.

“ If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, the man shall surely be punished.

你的眼不可顧惜他；要以命償命，以眼還眼，以牙還牙，以手還手，以腳還腳。

人殺該隱、若須遭報七倍；那麼若殺拉麥，就須遭報七十七倍了！』

因為它是為你的好處而做上帝僕役的。但你若行惡，就該懼怕；因為它並不是徒然佩帶刀劍權力；它是上帝的僕役，是刑罰者，使上帝之義怒臨到作惡之人的。

『人若擊打他奴僕的一隻眼、或使女的一隻眼，把眼打壞了，就要因他（她）眼的緣故、放他（她）自由。若打掉了他奴僕的一個牙、或使女的一個牙，就要因他（她）牙的緣故、放他（她）自由。

他們說：「為甚麼我們禁食，而你不看呢？為甚麼我們刻苦自己，而你不理會呢？」嘿，你們禁食的日子、仍然追求所喜歡作的事！逕自壓迫一切為你們作苦工的人！嘿，你們禁食、只為的是吵鬧和爭競，拿兇惡的拳頭打人呀！像你們今天這樣的禁食並不能使你們的聲音在高天得聽到呀。

永恆主對該隱說：『既然如此，凡殺該隱的就須遭報七倍。』永恆主便給該隱立個記號，免得遇見他的人擊殺他。

『使人流血的、人也必使他流血；因為上帝造人、是按上帝自己的形像造的。

只用說話、僕人並不會受訓練；他雖明白，卻不能有反應。

報血仇的要親自把那故意殺人的打死；遇見他的時候，就可以把他打死。

『人擊殺人、必須憑着幾個見證人的口、那故意殺人的才可以被處決；若只有一個見證人作證控訴一個人，那人就不必被處死。故意殺人的就是犯死罪的、你們不可收贖價去代替他的命；他必須被處死。那逃到逃罪城的人、你們不可為他收贖價、使他在大祭司未死以前再來住本地。這樣，你們就不至於使你們所在之地成了俗污，因為血能使地成了俗污；若有在地上流人血的，非流那殺人者的血，那地之被血染就不能得潔除。
