“倘若有人用棍子打他的仆婢，导致他们当场死亡，他必须受惩罚。

“ Anyone who beats their male or female slave with a rod must be punished if the slave dies as a direct result,

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

“ And if someone strikes his male or female slave with a rod and the slave dies at his hand, he shall be punished.

“ And if a man beats his male or female servant with a rod, so that he dies under his hand, he shall surely be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall surely be punished.

“ When a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod, and the slave dies under his abuse, the owner must be punished.

And if a man smite his servant, or his maid, with a rod, and he die under his hand; he shall be surely punished.

“ If a man strikes his male servant or his female servant with a staff so that he or she dies as a result of the blow, he will surely be punished.

“ If a man strikes his servant or his maid with a rod, and he dies under his hand, the man shall surely be punished.

你们对恶人不可心软，要以命偿命，以眼还眼，以牙还牙，以手还手，以脚还脚。

杀该隐的遭受七倍的报应，杀拉麦的遭受七十七倍的报应。”

要知道掌权者是上帝差遣的，对行得正的人有益处。然而，你若作恶，就该惧怕，因为他必将你绳之以法。他是上帝的仆人，代表上帝秉公行义，惩奸罚恶。

“主人若打坏仆婢的一只眼睛，就要因仆婢眼睛受伤而使仆婢得自由。同样，倘若他打掉了仆婢的一颗牙齿，也要因此而释放他。

他们说，‘我们禁食，你为什么不看呢？我们刻苦己身，你为什么不理睬呢？’我说，‘看啊，禁食之日你们仍然随心所欲，压榨你们的工人。你们一面禁食，一面争闹打斗，彼此恶拳相向。不要指望这样的禁食会使你们的祷告在天上蒙垂听。

耶和华对他说：“不会的，因为凡杀你的，必遭受七倍的报应。”于是，耶和华在该隐身上留下一个记号，免得见到他的人杀他。

凡杀害人的，也必被人杀害，因为人是上帝照着自己的形象造的。

管教仆人不能单靠言语，因为他虽明白却不服从。

报仇的人要亲自处死故意杀人者，一找到他就要处死他。

“‘倘若有人被控谋杀，必须有几个人作证才可以处死他，不可凭一个人的证词处死他。犯了死罪的杀人凶手必须偿命，不可让他付赎金免死。不可收逃进避难城之人的赎金，让他在大祭司逝世前返回家园。这样，你们就不致玷污你们所居住的土地，因为血会玷污土地。除非用凶手的血作抵偿，否则被血玷污的土地无法得到洁净。
