凡咒罵自己的父親或母親的、必須被處死；他咒罵了自己的父親或母親，流他血的罪必歸到他自己身上。『一個人和另一個人的妻子犯了姦淫——和他鄰舍的妻子犯了姦淫——姦夫和淫婦都必須被處死。

嗤笑父親，藐視母親年老的，他的眼必被谿谷中的烏鴉啄出，給兀鷹之類所喫。

耶穌回答他們說：『你們呢、你們為甚麼因了你們的傳統規矩而違犯上帝的誡命呢？上帝命令說：「要孝敬父親和母親」；又說：『誹謗父親或母親的，必須死』；你們倒說：『無論何人對父親或母親說：「你可由我得益之物、已經用做獻神禮物了」；這麼一說，他便可以不必敬奉父親或母親！那就是你們竟因了你們的傳統規矩而取消上帝的話了！
