“ Anyone who curses their father or mother is to be put to death.

There is a generation that curses its father and does not bless its mother.

For Moses said: Honor your father and your mother; and Whoever speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.But you say,‘ If a man tells his father or mother: Whatever benefit you might have received from me is Corban’”( that is, a gift committed to the temple),

“ If anyone curses his father or mother, he must be put to death. He has cursed his father or mother; his blood is on his own hands.If a man commits adultery with a married woman— if he commits adultery with his neighbor’s wife— both the adulterer and the adulteress must be put to death.

As for the eye that ridicules a father and despises obedience to a mother, may ravens of the valley pluck it out and young vultures eat it.

He answered them,“ And why do you break God’s commandment because of your tradition?For God said: Honor your father and your mother; and, The one who speaks evil of father or mother must be put to death.But you say,‘ Whoever tells his father or mother,“ Whatever benefit you might have received from me is a gift committed to the temple”—he does not have to honor his father.’ In this way, you have revoked God’s word because of your tradition.
