凡咒罵父母的，總要治死他；他咒罵了父母，他的罪要歸到他身上。「與鄰舍之妻行淫的，姦夫淫婦都必治死。

戲笑父親、藐視而不聽從母親的，他的眼睛必為谷中的烏鴉啄出來，為鷹雛所吃。

耶穌回答說：「你們為甚麼因着你們的遺傳犯神的誡命呢？神說：『當孝敬父母』；又說：『咒罵父母的，必治死他。』你們倒說：『無論何人對父母說：我所當奉給你的已經作了供獻，他就可以不孝敬父母。』這就是你們藉着遺傳，廢了神的誡命。
