If a man schemes and comes presumptuously on his neighbor to kill him, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.

人若任意用诡计杀了他的邻舍，就是逃到我的坛那里，也当捉去把他治死。

人若蓄意用诡计杀了他的邻舍，就是逃到我的坛那里，也当把他捉去处死。

人若蓄意用诡计杀了他的邻舍，就是逃到我的坛那里，也当把他捉去处死。

倘若是蓄意杀人，就算他逃到我的祭坛那里，也要把他拉出来处死。

若有人任意待他的邻舍，用诡计把他杀了，你要把他从我的祭坛那里拿去处死。

人若任意用詭計殺了他的鄰舍，就是逃到我的壇那裏，也當捉去把他治死。

人若蓄意用詭計殺了他的鄰舍，就是逃到我的壇那裏，也當把他捉去處死。

人若蓄意用詭計殺了他的鄰舍，就是逃到我的壇那裏，也當把他捉去處死。

倘若是蓄意殺人，就算他逃到我的祭壇那裡，也要把他拉出來處死。

若有人任意待他的鄰舍，用詭計把他殺了，你要把他從我的祭壇那裡拿去處死。

若擅攻其鄰、以詭計殺之、雖逃於我壇、亦執而殺之、○

如惡謀詭計殺人、雖逋逃於祭壇、亦執以償。

人若因仇用奸計殺人、雖逃至我祭臺、亦當執之而殺、○

But if anyone schemes and kills someone deliberately, that person is to be taken from my altar and put to death.

But suppose they kill someone on purpose. Then take them away from my altar and put them to death.

But if a man willfully attacks another to kill him by cunning, you shall take him from my altar, that he may die.

However, if someone deliberately kills another person, then the slayer must be dragged even from my altar and be put to death.

If a person schemes and willfully acts against his neighbor to murder him, you must take him from my altar to be put to death.

If, however, someone is enraged against his neighbor, so as to kill him in a cunning way, you are to take him even from My altar, to be put to death.

“ But if a man acts with premeditation against his neighbor, to kill him by treachery, you shall take him from My altar, that he may die.

And if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbor, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

If a person schemes and willfully acts against his neighbor to murder him, you must take him from My altar to be put to death.

But if a man come presumptuously upon his neighbour, to slay him with guile; thou shalt take him from mine altar, that he may die.

But if a man willfully attacks his neighbor to kill him cunningly, you will take him even from my altar that he may die.

This news came to Joab; for Joab had followed Adonijah, although he didn’t follow Absalom. Joab fled to Yahweh’s Tent, and held onto the horns of the altar.King Solomon was told,“ Joab has fled to Yahweh’s Tent, and behold, he is by the altar.” Then Solomon sent Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, saying,“ Go, fall on him.”Benaiah came to Yahweh’s Tent, and said to him,“ The king says,‘ Come out!’” He said,“ No; but I will die here.” Benaiah brought the king word again, saying,“ This is what Joab said, and this is how he answered me.”The king said to him,“ Do as he has said, and fall on him, and bury him; that you may take away the blood, which Joab shed without cause, from me and from my father’s house.Yahweh will return his blood on his own head, because he fell on two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword, and my father David didn’t know it: Abner the son of Ner, captain of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, captain of the army of Judah.So their blood will return on the head of Joab, and on the head of his offspring forever. But for David, for his offspring, for his house, and for his throne, there will be peace forever from Yahweh.”Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada went up and fell on him, and killed him; and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.

For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more a sacrifice for sins,

Adonijah was afraid because of Solomon; and he arose, and went, and hung onto the horns of the altar.Solomon was told,“ Behold, Adonijah fears king Solomon; for, behold, he is hanging onto the horns of the altar, saying,‘ Let king Solomon swear to me first that he will not kill his servant with the sword.’”

‘ Cursed is he who secretly kills his neighbor.’ All the people shall say,‘ Amen.’

but chiefly those who walk after the flesh in the lust of defilement and despise authority. Daring, self- willed, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignitaries;

The man who does presumptuously in not listening to the priest who stands to minister there before Yahweh your God, or to the judge, even that man shall die. You shall put away the evil from Israel.All the people shall hear and fear, and do no more presumptuously.

When Abner was returned to Hebron, Joab took him aside into the middle of the gate to speak with him quietly, and struck him there in the body, so that he died, for the blood of Asahel his brother.

So I spoke to you, and you didn’t listen; but you rebelled against the commandment of Yahweh, and were presumptuous, and went up into the hill country.

“‘ But the soul who does anything with a high hand, whether he is native- born or a foreigner, blasphemes Yahweh. That soul shall be cut off from among his people.Because he has despised Yahweh’s word, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall be utterly cut off. His iniquity shall be on him.’”

But if any man hates his neighbor, lies in wait for him, rises up against him, strikes him mortally so that he dies, and he flees into one of these cities;then the elders of his city shall send and bring him there, and deliver him into the hand of the avenger of blood, that he may die.Your eye shall not pity him, but you shall purge the innocent blood from Israel that it may go well with you.

When a prophet speaks in Yahweh’s name, if the thing doesn’t follow, nor happen, that is the thing which Yahweh has not spoken. The prophet has spoken it presumptuously. You shall not be afraid of him.

Keep back your servant also from presumptuous sins. Let them not have dominion over me. Then I will be upright. I will be blameless and innocent of great transgression.

Joab said to Amasa,“ Is it well with you, my brother?” Joab took Amasa by the beard with his right hand to kiss him.But Amasa took no heed to the sword that was in Joab’s hand. So he struck him with it in the body, and shed out his bowels to the ground, and didn’t strike him again; and he died. Joab and Abishai his brother pursued Sheba the son of Bichri.

Jehoiada the priest commanded the captains of hundreds who were set over the army, and said to them,“ Bring her out between the ranks. Kill anyone who follows her with the sword.” For the priest said,“ Don’t let her be slain in Yahweh’s house.”

If he shoved him out of hatred, or hurled something at him while lying in wait, so that he died,or in hostility struck him with his hand, so that he died, he who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.
