爾又聞有語古人云、勿背誓、誓必償之於主、惟我語爾、概勿誓、勿指天、以天乃上帝座也、勿指地、以地乃其足几也、勿指耶路撒冷、以其為大君之京師也、勿指爾首而誓、以首之一髮、爾不能使之為黑為白也、顧爾之言、宜是是否否、過此則出於惡者也、○

蓋人必指大於己者而誓、凡有爭辯、則誓以定之、上帝欲於將承所許者、益彰其旨之不易、故實之以誓、

今我以仁慈待爾、請指耶和華而誓、亦必以仁慈待我父家、示我以實證、

二人曰、爾使我所發之誓、我必守之而無咎、

耶穌不答、大祭司曰、我指維生上帝、令爾誓而告我、爾果上帝子基督否、耶穌曰、爾言之矣、且吾語汝、此後爾曹將見人子坐有權者之右、乘雲而來也、

其以感謝為祭、獻於上帝、向至高者償爾願兮、患難之日、爾當籲我、我必援爾、爾亦榮我兮、○上帝語惡人曰、爾奚稱道我律、口言我約、

既與之誓、必容其生存、免震怒及我、

禍哉、爾瞽而導者乎、每曰、人指殿而誓、則無事、惟指殿之金而誓、則當償之、愚而瞽者歟、孰為大、金乎、抑使金成聖之殿乎、爾又云、指壇而誓、則無事、惟指壇上禮物而誓、則當償之、瞽者歟、孰為大、禮物乎、抑使禮物成聖之壇乎、故指壇而誓、是指壇及在其上者而誓也、指殿而誓、是指殿及居其中者而誓也、指天而誓、是指上帝座、及坐其上者而誓也、○

當寅畏爾上帝耶和華、事之附之、指其名而發誓、

恐我飽飫、而不識爾、謂耶和華為誰、或貧乏而行竊、褻瀆我上帝之名、○

我籲上帝以我心作證、我不適哥林多者、寬容爾也、

大衛在位之時、饑饉歷三載、大衛諮諏耶和華、耶和華曰、緣掃羅及其流血之家、殺基遍人也、夫基遍人、原為亞摩利族之遺民、不屬以色列族、以色列族與之盟約、掃羅為以色列及猶大人熱中、謀殺戮之、

勿寬其罪、爾乃哲人、知所當為、使其白首流血歸墓、
