毋跪拜、毋崇事、蓋我耶和華爾之天主、乃忌邪之天主、或作不容人崇奉別神惡我者、我必討其罪、以及子孫、至三四代、

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,

Do not bow down to them or worship them. I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God. I cause the sins of the parents to affect their children. I will cause the sins of those who hate me to affect even their grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me,

You must not bow down to them or worship them, for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God who will not tolerate your affection for any other gods. I lay the sins of the parents upon their children; the entire family is affected— even children in the third and fourth generations of those who reject me.

Do not bow in worship to them, and do not serve them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, bringing the consequences of the fathers’ iniquity on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate me,

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God[ am] a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth[ generation] of them that hate me;

You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I, the LORD, your God, am a jealous God, responding to the transgression of fathers by dealing with children to the third and fourth generations of those who reject me,

you shall not bow yourself down to them, nor serve them, for I, Yahweh your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me,

看哪！这都被记在我面前：我不再静默，一定报应；我必把他们的罪孽、他们祖先的罪孽一同报应在他们怀中。因为他们在山上烧香，在冈陵上辱骂我，所以我必称量他们先前的行为，报应在他们怀中。”

愿他祖先的罪孽被记在耶和华面前，不要让他母亲的罪被抹掉。

求你不要记住我们祖先的罪孽，愿你的怜悯快快临到我们，因为我们变得极其衰微。

恨耶和华的人将向他卑躬屈膝，愿他们受罚的日子直到永远。

你必不能与其他君王同葬，因为你毁坏了你的国，杀戮了你的民。愿作恶者的后裔永不被提起！你们要为他的子孙预备好屠宰场，这是因他们祖先的罪孽；他们绝不会再兴起、占有地土、在世上布满城镇。”

诽谤人、憎恨神、侮慢人、骄傲、自夸、制造恶行、悖逆父母、

他们不反思，也没有知识和聪慧来说：“我用一半的木头烧火，又在火炭上烘饼，烤肉吃。我怎么能用剩下的木头制造可憎之物呢？我怎么能向一块木头膜拜呢？”

“这世界如果恨你们，你们应当知道，世界在恨你们之前已经恨我了。

恨我的，也恨我的父。如果我没有在他们当中做别人从未做过的事，他们就没有罪；但如今他们虽然看到了，还是恨我和我的父。

看，我为此差派先知、智者、经师到你们这里来；有些你们要杀害、要钉上十字架，有些要在会堂里鞭打，从一个城追逼到另一个城。所以，从义人亚伯的血起，直到你们在圣所和祭坛之间所杀的巴拉加的儿子撒迦利亚的血为止，在地上所流的义人的血都要归在你们身上。我确实地告诉你们：这一切都要临到这世代。

这些树可以给人作燃料。他拿一些来生火取暖，还用来烧火烤饼；他也用这些树制作神像来下拜，制造雕像来膜拜。

你们这些淫乱的人哪！难道你们不知道，与世界为友，就是与神为敌吗？所以，如果有人想要和世界做朋友，他就成了神的仇敌！

他们的高所惹他恼怒，他们雕刻的偶像激起他的嫉恨。

原来属肉体的思想是敌对神的，因为它不服从神的律法，其实也不能服从；

主把犹大王约雅敬以及神殿中的一部分器具，交在尼布甲尼撒的手中；他就都带到示拿地他神明的殿宇，把器具放入他神明的宝库。

世界不能恨你们，却是恨我，因为我见证世界的行为是邪恶的。

难道我们要激起主的嫉恨吗？难道我们比他更强吗？

对他说：“你如果俯伏拜我，我就把这一切都给你。”

因为嫉妒是男人的怒火，他在报复之日必不留情；他不顾任何的赎价，即使礼物增多，他也不会接受。

万军之耶和华如此说：‘我要清算亚玛力人对以色列人所做的事，就是当以色列人从埃及上来时，亚玛力人在路上攻击他们。现在你要去攻打亚玛力人，把他们所有的一切都灭绝净尽，不可怜恤他们；无论是男女、幼童、婴儿，还是牛羊、骆驼、驴子，都要杀灭。’”

错过我的，就伤害自己的灵魂；所有恨我的，都喜爱死亡。”
