你若為我築一座石壇，不可用鑿過的石頭，因為你在石頭上動了工具，就使壇污穢了。

如以石為我建祭臺、不可用已鑿之石而建、蓋一經鐵器則污矣、

If you make an altar of stones for me, do not build it with dressed stones, for you will defile it if you use a tool on it.

If you make an altar out of stones to honor me, do not build it with blocks of stone. You will make it“ unclean” if you use a tool on it.

If you make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stones, for if you wield your tool on it you profane it.

If you use stones to build my altar, use only natural, uncut stones. Do not shape the stones with a tool, for that would make the altar unfit for holy use.

If you make a stone altar for me, do not build it out of cut stones. If you use your chisel on it, you will defile it.

你在那裏要為耶和華－你的神築一座石壇，卻不可動用鐵器在石頭上。要用沒有鑿過的石頭築耶和華－你神的壇，在壇上將燔祭獻給耶和華－你的神，

這壇是照耶和華的僕人摩西吩咐以色列人，用沒有動過鐵器的整塊石頭所築的，正如摩西律法書上所寫的。他們在這壇上給耶和華奉獻燔祭，又宰牲作為平安祭。
