Then Solomon spoke:“ The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud.

He bowed the heavens also, and came down With darkness under His feet.

Clouds and darkness surround Him; Righteousness and justice are the foundation of His throne.

Who cover Yourself with light as with a garment, Who stretch out the heavens like a curtain.

Then Solomon spoke:“ The Lord said He would dwell in the dark cloud.

who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.

Then it came to pass on the third day, in the morning, that there were thunderings and lightnings, and a thick cloud on the mountain; and the sound of the trumpet was very loud, so that all the people who were in the camp trembled.And Moses brought the people out of the camp to meet with God, and they stood at the foot of the mountain.

“ These words the Lord spoke to all your assembly, in the mountain from the midst of the fire, the cloud, and the thick darkness, with a loud voice; and He added no more. And He wrote them on two tablets of stone and gave them to me.

From the brightness before Him, His thick clouds passed with hailstones and coals of fire.

I stood between the Lord and you at that time, to declare to you the word of the Lord; for you were afraid because of the fire, and you did not go up the mountain. He said:
