棄之、埃及王之女育為己子、

屈抑之子、範衛之於患難中兮、

維此貧民、受屈欷歔、耶和華曰、余必勃然而興、手援之兮、不使藐視於人斯。

我逢患難、上帝範衛我、扶翼我兮、

耶和華諭摩西曰、汝夙興、至水濱、俟法老至、告之曰、耶和華云、汝當釋我民、服役於我、

明日法老詣河、爾往河濱、執化蛇之杖俟法老至、

阿利冰族以餅以肉攜之而至、無間朝夕、所飲者此溪之水。

王志所向、耶和華挽其意、如回狂瀾於既倒。

敵人銜憾、上帝因之顯榮、惟彼上帝、息敵人之餘怒兮、

耶和華使巨魚吞約拿、約拿在魚腹、三日三夜。

耶和華遂命巨魚吐約拿得登於岸。
