Soon Pharaoh’s daughter came down to bathe in the river, and her attendants walked along the riverbank. When the princess saw the basket among the reeds, she sent her maid to get it for her.

棄時、法老之女、取而育為己子、

耶和華為屈抑者之高臺、避難之高臺兮、

上帝為我避所、為我能力、在患難中、大顯輔助兮、

耶和華諭摩西曰、詰朝法老詣水濱、汝夙興、立於其前、告之曰、耶和華云、宜釋吾民、使其崇事於我、

詰朝法老詣河、爾往、立於河濱迎之、手執化蛇之杖、

烏朝夕以餅與肉給之、所飲者、此溪之水、

王之心志、在耶和華掌握、如溝洫之水、隨意運轉之、

世人忿怒、誠使爾得頌美、彼之餘怒、爾則禁之兮、

耶和華備一巨魚吞約拿、約拿在於魚腹、三晝三夜、

耶和華命其魚、遂吐約拿於陸地、
