And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? intendest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

那人说：“谁立你作我们的首领和审判官呢？难道你要杀我，像杀那埃及人吗？”摩西便惧怕，说：“这事必是被人知道了。”

那人说：“谁立你作我们的领袖和审判官呢？难道你要杀我，像杀那埃及人一样吗？”摩西就惧怕，说：“这事一定是让人知道了。”

那人说：“谁立你作我们的领袖和审判官呢？难道你要杀我，像杀那埃及人一样吗？”摩西就惧怕，说：“这事一定是让人知道了。”

那人说：“你以为你是谁啊？谁立你做我们的首领和审判官？难道你要杀我，像杀那个埃及人一样吗？”摩西听了，害怕起来，心想：“我做的事一定被人知道了。”

那人回答：“谁立了你作我们的领袖和审判官呢？难道你想杀我，好像杀那个埃及人一样吗？”摩西就惧怕起来，心里想：“这事必定给人知道了！”

那人說：「誰立你作我們的首領和審判官呢？難道你要殺我，像殺那埃及人嗎？」摩西便懼怕，說：「這事必是被人知道了。」

那人說：「誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官呢？難道你要殺我，像殺那埃及人一樣嗎？」摩西就懼怕，說：「這事一定是讓人知道了。」

那人說：「誰立你作我們的領袖和審判官呢？難道你要殺我，像殺那埃及人一樣嗎？」摩西就懼怕，說：「這事一定是讓人知道了。」

那人說：「你以為你是誰啊？誰立你做我們的首領和審判官？難道你要殺我，像殺那個埃及人一樣嗎？」摩西聽了，害怕起來，心想：「我做的事一定被人知道了。」

那人回答：“誰立了你作我們的領袖和審判官呢？難道你想殺我，好像殺那個埃及人一樣嗎？”摩西就懼怕起來，心裡想：“這事必定給人知道了！”

那人說：『誰設立你做首領做審判官來管我們呢？難道你要殺我、像殺那埃及人麼？』摩西害怕說：『這事必是給人知道了。』

曰、孰立汝為君長士師以治我、爾欲殺我、如殺埃及人乎、摩西懼、曰、事洩矣、

曰、孰立汝為有司刑官、以治我乎。昔殺埃及人、今欲殺我乎。摩西意謂事洩而懼。

曰、誰立爾為長為刑官以治我、昔爾擊斃伊及人、今欲擊斃我乎、摩西懼、曰、此事誠洩矣、

The man said,“ Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking of killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and thought,“ What I did must have become known.”

The man said,“ Who made you ruler and judge over us? Are you thinking about killing me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses became afraid. He thought,“ People must have heard about what I did.”

He answered,“ Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you mean to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, and thought,“ Surely the thing is known.”

The man replied,“ Who appointed you to be our prince and judge? Are you going to kill me as you killed that Egyptian yesterday?” Then Moses was afraid, thinking,“ Everyone knows what I did.”

“ Who made you a commander and judge over us?” the man replied.“ Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses became afraid and thought,“ What I did is certainly known.”

But he said,“ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid and said,“ Surely the matter has become known!”

Then he said,“ Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you intend to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” So Moses feared and said,“ Surely this thing is known!”

And he said, Who made thee a prince and a judge over us? Thinkest thou to kill me, as thou killedst the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely the thing is known.

“ Who made you a leader and judge over us?” the man replied.“ Are you planning to kill me as you killed the Egyptian?” Then Moses became afraid and thought: What I did is certainly known.

The man replied,“ Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Are you planning to kill me like you killed that Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, thinking,“ Surely what I did has become known.”

He said,“ Who made you a prince and a judge over us? Do you plan to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian?” Moses was afraid, and said,“ Surely this thing is known.”

And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

The king’s wrath[ is] as the roaring of a lion; but his favour[ is] as dew upon the grass.

And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority?

And they said, Stand back. And they said[ again], This one[ fellow] came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man,[ even] Lot, and came near to break the door.

The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed,[ saying],Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.He that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision.Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.

And Abram said unto Lot, Let there be no strife, I pray thee, between me and thee, and between my herdmen and thy herdmen; for we[ be] brethren.

And the next day he shewed himself unto them as they strove, and would have set them at one again, saying, Sirs, ye are brethren; why do ye wrong one to another?But he that did his neighbour wrong thrust him away, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge over us?Wilt thou kill me, as thou diddest the Egyptian yesterday?

[ Is it] a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

And his brethren said to him, Shalt thou indeed reign over us? or shalt thou indeed have dominion over us? And they hated him yet the more for his dreams, and for his words.And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me.And he told[ it] to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What[ is] this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth?And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying.

But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this[ man] to reign over us.

But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay[ them] before me.

And they said one to another, Behold, this dreamer cometh.Come now therefore, and let us slay him, and cast him into some pit, and we will say, Some evil beast hath devoured him: and we shall see what will become of his dreams.

This Moses whom they refused, saying, Who made thee a ruler and a judge? the same did God send[ to be] a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the angel which appeared to him in the bush.

And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them,[ Ye take] too much upon you, seeing all the congregation[ are] holy, every one of them, and the LORD[ is] among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe.
