The Lord said,“ I have seen how my people are suffering in Egypt. I have heard them cry out because of their slave drivers. I am concerned about their suffering.

Moses was taught all the knowledge of the people of Egypt. He became a powerful speaker and a man of action.“ When Moses was 40 years old, he decided to visit the people of Israel. They were his own people.He saw one of them being treated badly by an Egyptian. So he went to help him. He got even by killing the man.

Make them work harder. Then they will be too busy to pay attention to lies.”

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me. He has anointed me to announce the good news to poor people. He has sent me to announce freedom for prisoners. He has sent me so that the blind will see again. He wants me to set free those who are treated badly.
