and all the people answered together,“ All that the LORD has commanded we will do!” So Moses brought the words of the people back to the LORD.

眾民僉曰、凡耶和華所諭、我必奉行、摩西乃以民言覆於耶和華、

眾論僉同、對曰、耶和華所諭、敢弗奉行、摩西乃以民言覆於耶和華、耶和華曰、我乘密雲、臨格爾上、我與爾言、俾民聽聞、而篤信爾、歷久弗渝。

眾民同聲相應曰、凡主所諭、我必遵行、摩西以民之言覆於主、

The people all responded together,“ We will do everything the Lord has said.” So Moses brought their answer back to the Lord.

All the people answered together, and said,“ All that Yahweh has spoken we will do.” Moses reported the words of the people to Yahweh.

He took the Book of the Covenant and read it aloud to the people, and they said,“ We are willing to do and obey all that the LORD has spoken.”

Moses came and told the people all the LORD’s words and all the decisions. All the people answered together,“ We are willing to do all the words that the LORD has said,”

They said to Moses,“ You speak to us and we will listen, but do not let God speak with us, lest we die.”

Today you have declared the LORD to be your God, and that you will walk in his ways, keep his statutes, commandments, and ordinances, and obey him.And today the LORD has declared you to be his special people( as he already promised you) so you may keep all his commandments.Then he will elevate you above all the nations he has made and you will receive praise, fame, and honor. You will be a people holy to the LORD your God, as he has said.

The people said to Joshua,“ We will worship the LORD our God and obey him.”

hereby participate with their colleagues the town leaders and enter into a curse and an oath to adhere to the law of God which was given through Moses the servant of God, and to obey carefully all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, along with his ordinances and his statutes.

You go near so that you can hear everything the LORD our God is saying and then you can tell us whatever he says to you; then we will pay attention and do it.”When the LORD heard you speaking to me, he said to me,“ I have heard what these people have said to you– they have spoken well.If only it would really be their desire to fear me and obey all my commandments in the future, so that it may go well with them and their descendants forever.
