‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt and how I lifted you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

‘我向埃及人所行的事，你们都看见了，且看见我如鹰将你们背在翅膀上，带来归我。

我所行於埃及人、並負爾、如鷹以翼負雛、俾歸於我、爾咸睹之、

我所行於埃及民者、爾亦目擊、譬諸大鷹、負雛於翼、使爾眾歸我。

我所行於伊及人、我如何負爾、如鷹負雛於翼、導爾歸我、為爾所睹、

‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to Egypt, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

‘ You have seen for yourselves what I did to Egypt. You saw how I carried you on the wings of eagles and brought you to myself.

‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians. You know how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to myself.

‘ You yourselves have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I carried you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to Myself.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself.

Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians and how I carried you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Me.

Ye have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and[ how] I bare you on eagles’ wings, and brought you unto myself.

‘ You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I bore you on eagles’ wings, and brought you to myself.

Through all that they suffered, he suffered too. The messenger sent from his very presence delivered them. In his love and mercy he protected them; he lifted them up and carried them throughout ancient times.

Like an eagle that stirs up its nest, that hovers over its young, so the LORD spread out his wings and took him, he lifted him up on his pinions.The LORD alone was guiding him, no foreign god was with him.

But those who wait for the LORD’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.

Moses proclaimed to all Israel as follows:“ You have seen all that the LORD did in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, all his servants, and his land.

But the woman was given the two wings of a giant eagle so that she could fly out into the wilderness, to the place God prepared for her, where she is taken care of– away from the presence of the serpent– for a time, times, and half a time.

Again, however, pay very careful attention, lest you forget the things you have seen and disregard them for the rest of your life; instead teach them to your children and grandchildren.

Have a people ever heard the voice of God speaking from the middle of fire, as you yourselves have, and lived to tell about it?Or has God ever before tried to deliver a nation from the middle of another nation, accompanied by judgments, signs, wonders, war, strength, power, and other very terrifying things like the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?You have been taught that the LORD alone is God– there is no other besides him.From heaven he spoke to you in order to teach you, and on earth he showed you his great fire from which you also heard his words.

So the LORD said to Moses,“ See, I have made you like God to Pharaoh, and your brother Aaron will be your prophet.You are to speak everything I command you, and your brother Aaron is to tell Pharaoh that he must release the Israelites from his land.But I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and although I will multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt,Pharaoh will not listen to you. I will reach into Egypt and bring out my regiments, my people the Israelites, from the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment.Then the Egyptians will know that I am the LORD, when I extend my hand over Egypt and bring the Israelites out from among them.And Moses and Aaron did so; they did just as the LORD commanded them.Now Moses was eighty years old and Aaron was eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.The LORD said to Moses and Aaron,“ When Pharaoh says to you,‘ Do a miracle,’ and you say to Aaron,‘ Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh,’ it will become a snake.”When Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, they did so, just as the LORD had commanded them– Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants and it became a snake.Then Pharaoh also summoned wise men and sorcerers, and the magicians of Egypt by their secret arts did the same thing.Each man threw down his staff, and the staffs became snakes. But Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.Yet Pharaoh’s heart became hard, and he did not listen to them, just as the LORD had predicted.The LORD said to Moses,“ Pharaoh’s heart is hard; he refuses to release the people.
