Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently.

山一見永恆主的面、就震撼，一見西乃山的上帝永恆主、以色列上帝的面、就搖動。

永恆主的使者從刺叢中火燄裏向他顯現。摩西一看，只見刺叢在火中燒着，而刺叢竟沒有被燒燬！

永恆主啊，使天下垂，你親自降臨哦！求你摸觸着山，使山冒煙哦！

由於上帝的榮耀和權能、殿堂中都充滿了煙；沒有人能進殿堂，直等到那七位天使的七種災殃都降完了為止。

上帝啊，你領着你人民出來時，在荒野上行進時，（細拉）地見上帝之聖容就震動，天也點滴水來；這西乃山一見上帝、以色列上帝、之聖容，就震動。

永恆主之榮耀的形狀、在以色列人眼前、就像燒燬東西的火在山頂上。

他望着地，地便震顫；他摸着山，山就冒煙。

向所多瑪、蛾摩拉、那一片平原全地眺望觀看，哎呀，那地方的煙氣還往上冒，就像燒窰的煙氣一般。

『這些話、永恆主在山上、從火中、密雲中、暗霧中、大聲對你們全體大眾講過，並沒有加添；他把這些話寫在兩塊石版上，交給了我。

我觀看山嶺，啊，山嶺全都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。

他說：『永恆主從西乃而來，他從西珥發晨光、照耀他們，從巴蘭山射發光輝，帶着萬萬聖者來臨，他右手旁有勇士，

日落時、天黑壓壓，忽有冒煙的手提爐子、和燒𤏲的火把、從那些肉塊中經過。

他的聲音當時搖動了地，如今卻有話應許說：『還有一次，我不單要震動地，還要震動天』。

由於唱和者的聲音，門檻的根基都震動了，殿也充滿着煙霧。

永恆主說：『你出來站在山上、在永恆主面前。』那時、永恆主正從那裏經過；在永恆主面前有大而強烈的風，裂山碎巖，永恆主卻不在風之中；風過後有地震，永恆主卻不在地震之中；地震之後有火，永恆主也不在火之中；火之後有聲音、低微而細弱。

所羅門祈禱完了，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡了燔祭和其他的祭；永恆主的榮光充滿了聖殿；因永恆主的榮光充滿了永恆主的殿，祭司們就未能進殿。那火降下來、而永恆主的榮光停在殿上時，以色列眾人都觀看着；他們就在鋪石處屈身伏臉於地而敬拜，稱謝永恆主說：『因為永恆主至善，他堅固的愛永遠長存。』

將責罰加給不認識上帝的、和不聽從我們主耶穌福音的人。

那麼我的山之平谷就必被堵塞住；因為山的平谷是延到旁邊的。平谷被堵住，必像猶大王烏西雅的日子因地震被堵住一樣。永恆主你的上帝一定來臨，有眾聖者和他同來。

因為外邦必起來攻打外邦，國必攻打國；許多地方必有饑荒和地震：

但主的日子總必來到；來時就像賊一樣。當那日、天必轟然一聲地過去，星辰必因烈熾而被消毁，地和地上被造之物就不見了。

大山因着他而震動，小山也都熔化。大地砰壞於他面前，世界和住於其間的也都毁滅。在他的盛怒前、誰能站得住呢？他怒氣之猛烈、誰能當得起呢？他的烈怒像火傾瀉而出，碞石因他而崩裂。

那時你們走近前來，站在山下；山上有火燒着，火燄沖到天中心，又有黑暗、密雲、暗霧。永恆主從火中對你們講話；你們聽見聲音，卻沒有看見形像；只有聲音而已。

大地啊，你在主面前要打滾；在雅各的上帝面前要舞蹈。

不可用手觸着他，必須拿石頭打死，或是用箭射透：無論是牲口、是人，都不得以活的。」當號角聲拉長的時候，他們才可以上山根來。』

你的雷聲在旋風中；電閃照亮世界；大地戰抖震動。

眾民見了雷轟、閃電、角聲和山上冒着煙；就懼怕，直發顫，遠遠地站着。

因為你們上了的並不是一個可摸觸的山：那裏有燒𤏲的火、與昏黑幽冥和旋風、
