耶和華的榮耀在山頂上，在以色列人眼前，形狀如烈火。

他看地，地便震動；他摸山，山就冒煙。

向所多瑪和蛾摩拉與平原的全地觀看，不料，那地方煙氣上騰，如同燒窰一般。

「這些話是耶和華在山上，從火中、雲中、幽暗中，大聲曉諭你們全會眾的；此外並沒有添別的話。他就把這話寫在兩塊石版上，交給我了。」

我觀看大山，不料，盡都震動，小山也都搖來搖去。

他說：耶和華從西奈而來，從西珥向他們顯現，從巴蘭山發出光輝，從萬萬聖者中來臨，從他右手為百姓傳出烈火的律法。

日落天黑，不料有冒煙的爐並燒着的火把從那些肉塊中經過。

當時他的聲音震動了地，但如今他應許說：「再一次我不單要震動地，還要震動天。」

因呼喊者的聲音，門檻的根基震動，殿充滿了煙雲。

耶和華說：「你出來站在山上，在我面前。」那時耶和華從那裏經過，在他面前有烈風大作，崩山碎石，耶和華卻不在風中；風後地震，耶和華卻不在其中；地震後有火，耶和華也不在火中；火後有微小的聲音。

所羅門祈禱已畢，就有火從天上降下來，燒盡燔祭和別的祭。耶和華的榮光充滿了殿；因耶和華的榮光充滿了耶和華殿，所以祭司不能進殿。那火降下、耶和華的榮光在殿上的時候，以色列眾人看見，就在鋪石地俯伏叩拜，稱謝耶和華說：耶和華本為善，他的慈愛永遠長存！

要報應那不認識神和那不聽從我主耶穌福音的人。

你們要從我山的谷中逃跑，因為山谷必延到亞薩。你們逃跑，必如猶大王烏西雅年間的人逃避大地震一樣。耶和華－我的神必降臨，有一切聖者同來。

民要攻打民，國要攻打國；多處必有饑荒、地震。

但主的日子要像賊來到一樣。那日，天必大有響聲廢去，有形質的都要被烈火銷化，地和其上的物都要燒盡了。

大山因他震動；小山也都消化。大地在他面前突起；世界和住在其間的也都如此。他發忿恨，誰能立得住呢？他發烈怒，誰能當得起呢？他的忿怒如火傾倒；磐石因他崩裂。

那時你們近前來，站在山下；山上有火焰沖天，並有昏黑、密雲、幽暗。耶和華從火焰中對你們說話，你們只聽見聲音，卻沒有看見形像。

大地啊，你因見主的面，就是雅各神的面，便要震動。

不可用手摸他，必用石頭打死，或用箭射透；無論是人是牲畜，都不得活。到角聲拖長的時候，他們才可到山根來。』」

你的雷聲在旋風中；電光照亮世界；大地戰抖震動。

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，就都發顫，遠遠地站立，

你們原不是來到那能摸的山；此山有火焰、密雲、黑暗、暴風、
