Mount Sinai was covered with smoke, because the Lord descended on it in fire. The smoke billowed up from it like smoke from a furnace, and the whole mountain trembled violently.

Now Mount Sinai was wrapped in smoke because the Lord had descended on it in fire. The smoke of it went up like the smoke of a kiln, and the whole mountain trembled greatly.

群山在耶和华面前震动；这西奈山在耶和华以色列的神面前也是这样。

耶和华的使者从荆棘丛里的火焰中向摩西显现。摩西观看，看见荆棘被火烧着，却没有烧毁。

耶和华啊！求你使天下垂，亲自降临；求你触摸群山，使山冒烟。

因着神的荣耀和大能，圣所中充满了烟，在那七位天使降完七灾以前，没有人能进入圣所。

神啊！你领着你的子民出来，走过旷野的时候，（细拉）地就震动，在你面前天也落下雨来；这西奈山在神面前，就是在以色列的神面前，也要震动。

耶和华荣耀的景象，在以色列人眼前，好像在山顶上出现烈火。

他注视大地，地就震动；他触摸群山，山就冒烟。

向所多玛和蛾摩拉，以及平原全地观望。不料，看见那地有烟上升，好像烧窑的烟一样。

“这些话就是耶和华在山上，从火中、密云中、幽暗里，大声对你们全体会众所说的，并没有加添什么；他把这些话写在两块石版上，交给了我。

我观看大山，它们尽都震动，小山也都摇来摇去。

他说：“耶和华从西奈而来，从西珥光照他们，从巴兰山射出光辉，在千万圣者中来临，在他的右手有烈火的律法。

日落天黑的时候，忽然有冒烟的炉和烧着的火把，从那些肉块中经过。

当时他的声音震动了地；现在他却应许说：“下一次，我不但要震动地，还要震动天。”

因呼叫者的声音，门槛的根基震撼，殿也充满了烟云。

耶和华说：“你出来站在山上，在我耶和华面前。”那时，耶和华从那里经过。在耶和华面前有强烈的大风，山崩石碎，但耶和华不在风中；风过以后有地震，但耶和华也不在地震中；地震过后有火，耶和华也不在火中；火后有低微柔和的声音。

所罗门祷告完了，有火从天上降下来，烧尽了燔祭和其他的祭品；耶和华的荣光充满了那殿。因为耶和华的荣光充满了耶和华的殿，祭司都不能进入耶和华的殿。那火降下，耶和华的荣光停在殿上的时候，以色列众人都看见；于是他们在铺石地跪下，俯伏在地，敬拜称颂耶和华说：“耶和华是良善的，他的慈爱永远长存。”

又要报应那些不认识神、不听从我们主耶稣的福音的人。

你们要经由我的山谷逃跑，因为山谷必伸展到亚萨；你们要逃跑，好像在犹大王乌西雅年间逃避大地震一样。耶和华我的神必来临，所有的圣者都与他（“与他”《马索拉文本》作“与你”）同来。

一个民族要起来攻打另一个民族，一个国家要起来攻打另一个国家，到处都有饥荒和地震，

但主的日子必要像贼一样来到。在那日，天必轰然一声地消失，所有元素都因烈火而融化；地和地上所有的，都要被烧毁（“被烧毁”有不少古抄本作“被发现”）。

大山在他面前震动，小山也都融化；大地在他面前废去，世界和所有住在世上的，也都这样。在他盛怒之下，谁能站得住呢？他的烈怒谁能受得了呢？他的忿怒像火一般喷出来，磐石在他面前都崩裂了。

那时，你们走前来，站在山下；山上有火烧着，火焰冲天，又有黑暗、密云和幽暗。耶和华从火中对你们说话；你们只听见声音，却没有看见形象；只有声音，

大地啊！你在主的面前，在雅各的神面前要战抖。

不可用手触摸他，必须用石头把他打死，或用箭射透；无论是牲畜，是人，都不得生存。’当号角声拖长的时候，你们才可以上到山上来。”

你的雷声在旋风中响起来，闪电照亮了世界，大地战抖震动。

全体人民都看见打雷、闪电、角声和冒着烟的山；人民看见了，就颤抖，远远地站着。

你们不是来到那座摸得着的山。那里有烈火、密云、幽暗、暴风、
