所見的極其可怕，甚至摩西說：「我甚是恐懼戰兢。」

眾百姓見雷轟、閃電、角聲、山上冒煙，就都發顫，遠遠地站立，

耶和華對摩西說：「我要在密雲中臨到你那裏，叫百姓在我與你說話的時候可以聽見，也可以永遠信你了。」於是，摩西將百姓的話奏告耶和華。

有閃電、聲音、雷轟從寶座中發出；又有七盞火燈在寶座前點着；這七燈就是神的七靈。

摩西向天伸杖，耶和華就打雷下雹，有火閃到地上；耶和華下雹在埃及地上。

你的雷聲在旋風中；電光照亮世界；大地戰抖震動。

天使拿着香爐，盛滿了壇上的火，倒在地上；隨有雷轟、大聲、閃電、地震。

耶和華說：你們怎麼不懼怕我呢？我以永遠的定例，用沙為海的界限，水不得越過。因此，你們在我面前還不戰兢嗎？波浪雖然翻騰，卻不能逾越；雖然匉訇，卻不能過去。

耶和華的聲音發在水上；榮耀的神打雷，耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力；耶和華的聲音滿有威嚴。耶和華的聲音震破香柏樹；耶和華震碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他也使之跳躍如牛犢，使黎巴嫩和西連跳躍如野牛犢。耶和華的聲音使火焰分岔。耶和華的聲音震動曠野；耶和華震動加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿落胎，樹木也脫落淨光。凡在他殿中的，都稱說他的榮耀。洪水泛濫之時，耶和華坐着為王；耶和華坐着為王，直到永遠。耶和華必賜力量給他的百姓；耶和華必賜平安的福給他的百姓。

我們的神要來，決不閉口。有烈火在他面前吞滅；有暴風在他四圍大颳。

當主日，我被聖靈感動，聽見在我後面有大聲音如吹號，說：

當時，雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮光就充滿了帳幕。

他的閃電光照世界，大地看見便震動。

誰為雨水分道？誰為雷電開路？

因此我心戰兢，從原處移動。聽啊，神轟轟的聲音是他口中所發的響聲。他發響聲震遍天下，發電光閃到地極。隨後人聽見有雷聲轟轟，大發威嚴，雷電接連不斷。神發出奇妙的雷聲；他行大事，我們不能測透。

這雷轟和冰雹已經夠了。請你們求耶和華，我就容你們去，不再留住你們。」摩西對他說：「我一出城，就要向耶和華舉手禱告；雷必止住，也不再有冰雹，叫你知道全地都是屬耶和華的。
