他以黑暗作他的藏身处，以众水的黑暗、天空的乌云作他四围的帷幕。冰雹和火炭从他面前的光辉中而出，穿过了乌云。耶和华在天上发出雷鸣，至高者发出他的声音，伴随着冰雹和火炭；他发出箭矢，使仇敌四散，发出众多闪电，使他们溃乱。

那景象实在可怕，连摩西也说：“我非常害怕战兢。”

从宝座中发出闪电、声音和雷鸣；在宝座前，有七支燃烧着的火把，就是神的七个灵；

你的雷声在旋风中，你的闪电照亮世界，大地颤抖震动。

接着，那位天使拿起香炉，把它装满了祭坛上的火，扔到地上；于是就有雷鸣、声音、闪电和地震。

我们的神来临，绝不沉默；烈火在他面前吞噬，暴风在他四围刮起。

有一个主日，我在灵里，听见我后面有一个大声音，如同号角声，

他的闪电照亮世界，大地看见了就震撼。
