這些事以後，我觀看，見天上有一道門開著；並且有我第一次聽見的那個好像號筒的聲音，對我說：“你上這裡來！我要把以後必定發生的事指示你。”

他以黑暗作他的隱密處，他以濃黑的水氣，就是天空的密雲，作他四周的帷帳。密雲、冰雹與火炭，從他面前的光輝經過。耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出聲音，發出冰雹和火炭。他射出箭來，使它們四散；他連連發出閃電，使它們混亂。

當時，顯出的景象是那麼可怕，連摩西也說：“我非常恐懼戰兢。”

全體人民都看見打雷、閃電、角聲和冒著煙的山；人民看見了，就顫抖，遠遠地站著。

耶和華對摩西說：“看哪，我要在密雲中降臨到你那裡，為要使人民在我與你說話的時候可以聽見，也可以永遠信你。”於是，摩西把人民的話告訴了耶和華。

有閃電、響聲、雷轟從寶座中發出；又有七枝火炬在寶座前點著，這就是神的七靈。

摩西把手杖向天一伸，耶和華就打雷（“打雷”原文作“神的聲音”）下雹，有火落在地上；耶和華使冰雹降在埃及地上。

你的雷聲在旋風中響起來，閃電照亮了世界，大地戰抖震動。

天使拿著香爐，用壇上的火把它裝滿了，投在地上；於是就有雷轟、響聲、閃電和地震。

於是，在天上神的聖所開了，他的約櫃就在他的聖所中顯現出來。隨即有閃電、響聲、雷轟、地震、大冰雹。

由於那雲彩的緣故，祭司都不能侍立供職，因為神的殿充滿了耶和華的榮光。

現今不是收割麥子的時候嗎？我要向耶和華呼求，他就會打雷降雨，你們就可以知道，又可以看見，你們為自己要求立王的事，在耶和華看來，是行了極大的惡事。”於是撒母耳向耶和華呼求，耶和華就在那天打雷降雨，眾民就非常懼怕耶和華和撒母耳。

‘你們連我都不懼怕嗎？在我面前你們也不戰兢嗎？’這是耶和華的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永遠的界限，海就不能越過；波浪翻騰，卻不能漫過；怒濤澎湃，仍無法逾越。

耶和華的聲音在眾水之上，榮耀的神打雷，耶和華打雷在大水之上。耶和華的聲音大有能力，耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷了香柏樹，耶和華震斷了黎巴嫩的香柏樹。他使黎巴嫩山跳躍像牛犢，使西連山跳躍像野牛犢。耶和華的聲音帶著火燄劈下。耶和華的聲音震撼曠野，耶和華震撼加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音驚動母鹿生產，使林中的樹木光禿凋零；凡是在他殿中的都說：“榮耀啊！”耶和華坐在洪水之上，耶和華坐著為王直到永遠。願耶和華賜力量給他的子民，願耶和華賜平安的福給他的子民。

我們的神來臨，決不緘默無聲；在他面前有火燃燒，在他四周有暴風颳起。

有一個主日，我在靈裡，聽見在我後邊有一個大聲音，好像號筒的響聲，

當時，有雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮耀充滿了帳幕。

他的閃電照亮世界，大地看見了就戰慄。

誰為大雨分水道，誰為雷電定道路？

“我的心因此戰兢，跳離原處。你們當細聽他轟轟的聲音，他口中發出隆隆的雷聲。他發雷聲響遍天下，也發電光閃到地極。接著雷聲霹靂，神以自己威嚴之聲打雷，人聽到雷聲的時候，神並沒有留住風霜雨雲（“風霜雨雲”直譯是“它們”）。神以奇妙的方法打雷，他行大事，我們不能了解。

請你們祈求耶和華吧，因為這雷聲和冰雹已經夠了；我決意讓你們離開，你們不可再留在這裡。”摩西回答法老：“我一出城，就必向耶和華伸手禱告，雷聲就必止住，也不再有冰雹了，好使你知道大地是屬於耶和華的。
