这些事以后，我观看，见天上有一道门开着；并且有我第一次听见的那个好像号筒的声音，对我说：“你上这里来！我要把以后必定发生的事指示你。”

他以黑暗作他的隐密处，他以浓黑的水气，就是天空的密云，作他四周的帷帐。密云、冰雹与火炭，从他面前的光辉经过。耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出声音，发出冰雹和火炭。他射出箭来，使它们四散；他连连发出闪电，使它们混乱。

当时，显出的景象是那么可怕，连摩西也说：“我非常恐惧战兢。”

全体人民都看见打雷、闪电、角声和冒着烟的山；人民看见了，就颤抖，远远地站着。

耶和华对摩西说：“看哪，我要在密云中降临到你那里，为要使人民在我与你说话的时候可以听见，也可以永远信你。”于是，摩西把人民的话告诉了耶和华。

有闪电、响声、雷轰从宝座中发出；又有七枝火炬在宝座前点着，这就是神的七灵。

摩西把手杖向天一伸，耶和华就打雷（“打雷”原文作“神的声音”）下雹，有火落在地上；耶和华使冰雹降在埃及地上。

你的雷声在旋风中响起来，闪电照亮了世界，大地战抖震动。

天使拿着香炉，用坛上的火把它装满了，投在地上；于是就有雷轰、响声、闪电和地震。

于是，在天上神的圣所开了，他的约柜就在他的圣所中显现出来。随即有闪电、响声、雷轰、地震、大冰雹。

由于那云彩的缘故，祭司都不能侍立供职，因为神的殿充满了耶和华的荣光。

现今不是收割麦子的时候吗？我要向耶和华呼求，他就会打雷降雨，你们就可以知道，又可以看见，你们为自己要求立王的事，在耶和华看来，是行了极大的恶事。”于是撒母耳向耶和华呼求，耶和华就在那天打雷降雨，众民就非常惧怕耶和华和撒母耳。

‘你们连我都不惧怕吗？在我面前你们也不战兢吗？’这是耶和华的宣告。‘我以沙作海的疆界，作永远的界限，海就不能越过；波浪翻腾，却不能漫过；怒涛澎湃，仍无法逾越。

耶和华的声音在众水之上，荣耀的神打雷，耶和华打雷在大水之上。耶和华的声音大有能力，耶和华的声音充满威严。耶和华的声音震断了香柏树，耶和华震断了黎巴嫩的香柏树。他使黎巴嫩山跳跃像牛犊，使西连山跳跃像野牛犊。耶和华的声音带着火焰劈下。耶和华的声音震撼旷野，耶和华震撼加低斯的旷野。耶和华的声音惊动母鹿生产，使林中的树木光秃凋零；凡是在他殿中的都说：“荣耀啊！”耶和华坐在洪水之上，耶和华坐着为王直到永远。愿耶和华赐力量给他的子民，愿耶和华赐平安的福给他的子民。

我们的神来临，决不缄默无声；在他面前有火燃烧，在他四周有暴风刮起。

有一个主日，我在灵里，听见在我后边有一个大声音，好像号筒的响声，

当时，有云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣耀充满了帐幕。

他的闪电照亮世界，大地看见了就战栗。

谁为大雨分水道，谁为雷电定道路？

“我的心因此战兢，跳离原处。你们当细听他轰轰的声音，他口中发出隆隆的雷声。他发雷声响遍天下，也发电光闪到地极。接着雷声霹雳，神以自己威严之声打雷，人听到雷声的时候，神并没有留住风霜雨云（“风霜雨云”直译是“它们”）。神以奇妙的方法打雷，他行大事，我们不能了解。

请你们祈求耶和华吧，因为这雷声和冰雹已经够了；我决意让你们离开，你们不可再留在这里。”摩西回答法老：“我一出城，就必向耶和华伸手祷告，雷声就必止住，也不再有冰雹了，好使你知道大地是属于耶和华的。
