此後，我再觀看，見天上有一扇門開了，又聽見剛才那個像號角般響亮的聲音對我說：「你上這裡來，我要把以後必發生的事指示給你看。」

祂藏身於黑暗中，四圍以密雲作幔幕。從祂面前的榮光中，冰雹和火炭衝破雲層。耶和華在天上打雷，至高者發出的聲音響徹在冰雹和火炭中。祂射出利箭驅散仇敵，發出閃電擊潰他們。

那情景實在可怕，就連摩西也說：「我嚇得發抖。」

那時雷電交加，號角嘹亮，山上冒煙，百姓看見此情景，都嚇得渾身顫抖，不敢挨近。

耶和華對摩西說：「我會在密雲中臨到你那裡，使百姓也可以親耳聽見我與你說話的聲音，這樣他們就會永遠信賴你。」摩西把以色列人的話回報耶和華。

從寶座中有閃電、響聲、雷鳴發出，寶座前面燃燒著七把火炬，代表上帝的七靈。

摩西向天伸出手杖，耶和華就發出雷電和冰雹，火光飛向大地。耶和華在埃及降下冰雹。

旋風中傳來你的雷聲，你的閃電照亮世界，大地顫抖震動。

天使又拿著香爐，盛滿祭壇的火，將它倒在地上，於是有雷鳴、巨響、閃電和地震。

那時，天上上帝的聖殿敞開了，殿內的約櫃清晰可見，又有閃電、巨響、雷鳴、地震和大冰雹。

以致祭司不能在殿裡供職，因為殿裡充滿了耶和華上帝的榮光。

你們都知道收割麥子的時候不會下雨。現在，我要向耶和華禱告，求祂打雷降雨，好讓你們知道，你們要求立王在耶和華眼中是多麼大的罪。」於是，撒母耳向耶和華呼求，耶和華便在當天打雷降雨，民眾非常害怕耶和華和撒母耳。

難道你們不敬畏我嗎？這是耶和華說的。難道你們在我面前不顫抖嗎？我以沙石為海的界限，使水永遠不能越過它。洶湧的波濤不能逾越，澎湃的海浪不能漫過。

耶和華的聲音迴盪在海上，榮耀的上帝打雷，在洪濤之上打雷。耶和華的聲音充滿能力；耶和華的聲音充滿威嚴。耶和華的聲音震斷香柏樹，耶和華劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏樹，使黎巴嫩山跳躍如小牛，西連山跳躍如野牛。耶和華的聲音攜閃電而來，震動曠野，震動加低斯的曠野。耶和華的聲音擊倒橡樹，使樹木凋零。眾人在祂殿中高呼：「榮耀歸於耶和華！」耶和華坐在洪濤之上，耶和華永遠坐著為王。耶和華賜力量給自己的子民，賜給他們平安的福樂。

我們的上帝來臨，並非悄然無聲，祂前面有烈火燃燒，周圍有暴風怒吼。

主日，我被聖靈感動，聽見身後有號角般響亮的聲音說：

那時，有雲彩遮蓋會幕，耶和華的榮光充滿了聖幕。

祂的閃電照亮世界，大地因此而戰抖。

誰為豪雨開水道，為雷電闢路徑，

「因此我心戰慄，在胸膛跳動。請仔細聽祂發出的雷聲，聽祂口中發出的轟鳴。祂使閃電劃過整個天空，亮光直照到地極。隨後雷聲隆隆，祂發出威嚴之聲。祂一發聲，雷電交加。上帝發出奇妙的雷聲，我們無法測度祂偉大的作為。

請你們向耶和華禱告，好止住雷電和冰雹。我准許以色列人出去，你們不必再留在這裡了。」摩西回答說：「我一出城，就向耶和華舉手禱告，雷電和冰雹必立刻停止，這樣你就知道普天下都屬於耶和華。
