此后，我再观看，见天上有一扇门开了，又听见刚才那个像号角般响亮的声音对我说：“你上这里来，我要把以后必发生的事指示给你看。”

祂藏身于黑暗中，四围以密云作幔幕。从祂面前的荣光中，冰雹和火炭冲破云层。耶和华在天上打雷，至高者发出的声音响彻在冰雹和火炭中。祂射出利箭驱散仇敌，发出闪电击溃他们。

那情景实在可怕，就连摩西也说：“我吓得发抖。”

那时雷电交加，号角嘹亮，山上冒烟，百姓看见此情景，都吓得浑身颤抖，不敢挨近。

耶和华对摩西说：“我会在密云中临到你那里，使百姓也可以亲耳听见我与你说话的声音，这样他们就会永远信赖你。”摩西把以色列人的话回报耶和华。

从宝座中有闪电、响声、雷鸣发出，宝座前面燃烧着七把火炬，代表上帝的七灵。

摩西向天伸出手杖，耶和华就发出雷电和冰雹，火光飞向大地。耶和华在埃及降下冰雹。

旋风中传来你的雷声，你的闪电照亮世界，大地颤抖震动。

天使又拿着香炉，盛满祭坛的火，将它倒在地上，于是有雷鸣、巨响、闪电和地震。

那时，天上上帝的圣殿敞开了，殿内的约柜清晰可见，又有闪电、巨响、雷鸣、地震和大冰雹。

以致祭司不能在殿里供职，因为殿里充满了耶和华上帝的荣光。

你们都知道收割麦子的时候不会下雨。现在，我要向耶和华祷告，求祂打雷降雨，好让你们知道，你们要求立王在耶和华眼中是多么大的罪。”于是，撒母耳向耶和华呼求，耶和华便在当天打雷降雨，民众非常害怕耶和华和撒母耳。

难道你们不敬畏我吗？这是耶和华说的。难道你们在我面前不颤抖吗？我以沙石为海的界限，使水永远不能越过它。汹涌的波涛不能逾越，澎湃的海浪不能漫过。

耶和华的声音回荡在海上，荣耀的上帝打雷，在洪涛之上打雷。耶和华的声音充满能力；耶和华的声音充满威严。耶和华的声音震断香柏树，耶和华劈碎黎巴嫩的香柏树，使黎巴嫩山跳跃如小牛，西连山跳跃如野牛。耶和华的声音携闪电而来，震动旷野，震动加低斯的旷野。耶和华的声音击倒橡树，使树木凋零。众人在祂殿中高呼：“荣耀归于耶和华！”耶和华坐在洪涛之上，耶和华永远坐着为王。耶和华赐力量给自己的子民，赐给他们平安的福乐。

我们的上帝来临，并非悄然无声，祂前面有烈火燃烧，周围有暴风怒吼。

主日，我被圣灵感动，听见身后有号角般响亮的声音说：

那时，有云彩遮盖会幕，耶和华的荣光充满了圣幕。

祂的闪电照亮世界，大地因此而战抖。

谁为豪雨开水道，为雷电辟路径，

“因此我心战栗，在胸膛跳动。请仔细听祂发出的雷声，听祂口中发出的轰鸣。祂使闪电划过整个天空，亮光直照到地极。随后雷声隆隆，祂发出威严之声。祂一发声，雷电交加。上帝发出奇妙的雷声，我们无法测度祂伟大的作为。

请你们向耶和华祷告，好止住雷电和冰雹。我准许以色列人出去，你们不必再留在这里了。”摩西回答说：“我一出城，就向耶和华举手祷告，雷电和冰雹必立刻停止，这样你就知道普天下都属于耶和华。
