And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at[ your] wives.

Then he said to the people,“ Prepare yourselves for the third day. Abstain from sexual relations.”

Then he spoke to the people. He said,“ Get ready for the third day. Don’t have sex.”

And he said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”

He told them,“ Get ready for the third day, and until then abstain from having sexual intercourse.”

He said to the people,“ Be prepared by the third day. Do not have sexual relations with women.”

He also said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not go near a woman.”

And he said to the people,“ Be ready for the third day; do not come near your wives.”

And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not near a woman.

And the priest answered David, and said,[ There is] no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Of a truth women[ have been] kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and[ the bread is] in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.

Defraud ye not one the other, except[ it be] with consent for a time, that ye may give yourselves to fasting and prayer; and come together again, that Satan tempt you not for your incontinency.

And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

[ And] to speak unto the priests which[ were] in the house of the LORD of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, Should I weep in the fifth month, separating myself, as I have done these so many years?

And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that[ was] in the camp trembled.

But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he[ is] like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

And in the third chariot white horses; and in the fourth chariot grisled and bay horses.

Therefore thus will I do unto thee, O Israel:[ and] because I will do this unto thee, prepare to meet thy God, O Israel.

Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore every tree which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and[ with] fire:Whose fan[ is] in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

[ Seeing] then[ that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner[ of persons] ought ye to be in[ all] holy conversation and godliness,Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

And the land shall mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shimei apart, and their wives apart;All the families that remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.
