Moses’ father- in- law Jethro came to Moses in the desert. Moses’ sons and wife came with Jethro. Moses was camped near the mountain of God.

Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to Moses in the wilderness where he was encamped at the mountain of God.

Jethro, Moses’ father in law, now came to visit Moses in the wilderness. He brought Moses’ wife and two sons with him, and they arrived while Moses and the people were camped near the mountain of God.

摩西牧放他岳父米甸祭司叶特罗的羊群，他领羊群往旷野的那一边去，到了上帝的山，就是何烈山。

上帝说：“我必与你同在。这就是我差派你去，给你的凭据：你把百姓从埃及领出来之后，你们必在这山上事奉上帝。”

耶和华的荣耀驻在西奈山，云彩遮盖了山六天，第七天他从云中呼叫摩西。耶和华的荣耀在山顶上，在以色列人眼前，形状如吞噬的火。

第三天要预备好，因为第三天耶和华要在众百姓眼前降临在西奈山。

耶和华降临在西奈山顶上，耶和华召摩西上山顶，摩西就上去了。

他就起来吃了喝了，仗着这饮食的力走了四十昼夜，到了上帝的山，就是何烈山。
