and the other was named Eliezer, for he said,“ My father’s God was my helper; he saved me from the sword of Pharaoh.”

彼得清醒過來，說：“現在我確實知道，主差他的天使來，救我脫離希律的手和猶太人所期望的一切。”

然而主站在我旁邊，加給我力量，使福音的信息藉著我盡都傳開，萬國的人都可以聽見；他並且把我從獅子口中救出來。

弟兄們，我們在亞西亞遭受的患難，我們很想讓你們知道。那時我們受到了過於我們所能忍受的壓力，甚至活下去的希望都沒有了，而且斷定自己是必死的了；然而，這正是要我們不倚靠自己，只倚靠那叫死人復活的神。他救我們脫離了那極大的死亡，而且他還要救我們，我們希望他將來仍要救我們。

所以我們可以放膽說：“主是我的幫助，我決不害怕，人能把我怎麼樣呢？”

我的神差遣了他的使者，封住獅子的口，使牠們沒有傷害我，因為我在神面前是清白的；王啊！在你面前我也沒有作過任何錯事。”

神是我們的避難所，是我們的力量，是我們在患難中隨時都可得到的幫助。

耶和華我的力量啊！我愛你。

我曾求問耶和華，他應允了我，救我脫離一切恐懼。

他救我脫離我的仇敵。你還把我高舉起來，高過那些起來攻擊我的人，又救我脫離了強暴的人。

但主耶和華必幫助我，所以我必不羞愧，因此我板著臉好像堅硬的燧石，我也知道我必不會蒙羞。那稱我為義的，與我相近；誰與我爭訟呢？讓我們一同站起來吧！誰是指控我的？讓他就近我來。看哪！主耶和華幫助我，誰能定我有罪呢？看哪！他們都要像衣服漸漸破舊，蛀蟲必把他們吃光。

摩西的兒子是革舜和以利以謝。

法老聽見這事，就設法要殺摩西；摩西躲避法老，就往米甸地去居住；有一天他坐在井旁。
