“你城中若起了争讼的事，或因流血，或因争竞，或因殴打，是你难断的案件，你就当起来，往耶和华你神所选择的地方去见祭司利未人，并当时的审判官，求问他们，他们必将判语指示你。

审判的时候，不可看人的外貌；听讼不可分贵贱，不可惧怕人，因为审判是属乎神的。若有难断的案件，可以呈到我这里，我就判断。’那时，我将你们所当行的事都吩咐你们了。”

你们纳粮，也为这个缘故；因他们是神的差役，常常特管这事。

你和这些百姓必都疲惫；因为这事太重，你独自一人办理不了。
