摩西以其事呈於耶和華。

當時爾懼火、不敢陟山、我在耶和華爾曹間、以耶和華言告爾、

謂摩西曰、汝與我言、我則聽從、如上帝與我言、我恐死亡。

約瑟於埃及家為僕、耶和華祐之、使之亨通。

曰、我左右爾、爾導民出埃及、必事我於此山、我非無徵以遣爾。

往哉、我必助爾說辭、示爾以所當言。

摩西曰、民咸就我、諮詢上帝之意耳。

爾與敵戰見車馬人民、較己尤眾、則毋畏懼、蓋爾上帝耶和華昔導爾出埃及、必輔翼爾。

教之守我所命爾者、且我常偕爾、至世末焉、

訓迪智人、則其智日加、指示義人、則其學日進。

摩西聆訓、遵外舅之言以行、

我豈不曰、強爾志、壯爾心、切勿恐懼、不論所往、爾上帝耶和華佑爾。○

亞倫必為汝告民、彼之於爾、代播言詞、爾之於彼、代為上帝。

故婢曰、我主我王之言、致我慰藉、我主我王如上帝之使、辨其是非、望耶和華爾之上帝祐爾。
