未登之先、告諸長老曰、爾曹處此、待我反、爾有亞倫戶耳在、人有訟事、可往諮諏。

押沙龍曰、爾事善理直、其如王未委人以鞫何。

我以法度禮儀教爾、使爾行之、在爾所得之地、遵我上帝耶和華命、

爾與兄弟爭訟、何忍訟於不義者前、而不訟於聖徒前乎、

摩西召以色列族、告之曰、我今所傳之法度禮儀爾其聽之、當學習、當恪守、

如爾邑中有訟事、為流血、為爭競、為加害、爾所難鞫者、則必詣爾上帝耶和華特簡之室、見祭司利未人、或在位之刑官、請其諮諏、為爾聽訟、彼在耶和華特簡之室、指示其故、爾必遵言以行。彼以法度典章、明告於爾、爾必遵循、勿偏於左、勿偏於右。祭司侍於爾上帝耶和華前、以供役事、有人擅行、而不聽從、並不服於刑官、則必死毋赦、如是絕惡於以色列族中。

耶和華命曰、西羅非哈女任其適人、惟擇同祖支派之人則可。如是以色列族之業、不得由此移彼、各支派之人守祖遺業。凡女有業、必適於同族之人、使以色列族各守厥祖之遺業。業不得由此移彼、以色列族各支派必守其業。

我為爾祈禱、無時或忘、否則犯罪於耶和華。又必以善道真理指示於爾。

教之守我所命爾者、且我常偕爾、至世末焉、

保羅未及啟口、迦流謂猶太人曰、猶太人、苟為不義奸惡之事、宜聽爾、惟是辯論言語名字、及爾律法、爾曹自理之、我不判此也、

告以色列族云、咒詛其上帝者、罪歸之。

耶和華諭摩西曰、西羅非哈之女所言是也、必以其父之遺產傳之、俾在叔伯中有其恆業。爾告以色列族云、如人死而無子、必歸其業於女、無女則歸諸兄弟、無兄弟則歸諸叔伯、無叔伯則歸諸戚屬、使以色列族永著為例、循我所諭之命。○

耶和華諭摩西曰、其人必殺毋赦、會眾必於營外、擊之以石。

爾上帝耶和華諭我、以誡命法度禮儀示爾、爾宜恪守、於爾所往、據有之地。

要之、兄弟乎、我賴主耶穌、求爾勸爾、既受我教、如何當行而悅於上帝、宜加勉焉、爾知我受主耶穌命以授爾、

遠諸偽為、勿殺無辜、毋戮義人、蓋我不釋違義者。

如我不公以涖下、使彼抱屈、

明日又出、見希百來二人鬥、謂不義者曰、何傷爾同儔。
