And Moses said to his father-in-law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

摩西对岳父说：“这是因百姓到我这里来求问神。

摩西对岳父说：“他们是来求问上帝的，

摩西回答他岳父：“因为人民到我这里来求问神。

摩西對岳父說：「這是因百姓到我這裏來求問神。

摩西對岳父說：「這是因為百姓到我這裏來求問上帝。

摩西對岳父說：「這是因為百姓到我這裏來求問神。

摩西對岳父說：「他們是來求問上帝的，

摩西回答他岳父：“因為人民到我這裡來求問神。

摩西對他的岳父說：『因為人民來找我求問上帝呀。

摩西曰、民就我諮詢於上帝耳、

摩西曰、民咸就我、諮詢上帝之意耳。

摩西對外舅曰、因民就我問天主故也、

Moses answered him,“ Because the people come to me to seek God’s will.

Moses answered,“ The people come to me to find out what God wants them to do.

And Moses said to his father-in-law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God;

Moses replied,“ Because the people come to me to get a ruling from God.

Moses replied to his father-in-law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

Moses said to his father in law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

And Moses said unto his father- in- law, Because the people come unto me to inquire of God:

Moses replied to his father-in-law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

Moses said to his father-in-law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

Moses said to his father- in- law,“ Because the people come to me to inquire of God.

They put him under guard, because it had not been explained what should be done to him.

So Moses brought their case before the Lord.

Then they put him in custody, that the mind of the Lord might be shown to them.And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,“ Take outside the camp him who has cursed; then let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

Listen now to my voice; I will give you counsel, and God will be with you: Stand before God for the people, so that you may bring the difficulties to God.And you shall teach them the statutes and the laws, and show them the way in which they must walk and the work they must do.

And Moses said to them,“ Stand still, that I may hear what the Lord will command concerning you.”

Now there were certain men who were defiled by a human corpse, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day; and they came before Moses and Aaron that day.

“ If a matter arises which is too hard for you to judge, between degrees of guilt for bloodshed, between one judgment or another, or between one punishment or another, matters of controversy within your gates, then you shall arise and go up to the place which the Lord your God chooses.And you shall come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge there in those days, and inquire of them; they shall pronounce upon you the sentence of judgment.You shall do according to the sentence which they pronounce upon you in that place which the Lord chooses. And you shall be careful to do according to all that they order you.According to the sentence of the law in which they instruct you, according to the judgment which they tell you, you shall do; you shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left from the sentence which they pronounce upon you.Now the man who acts presumptuously and will not heed the priest who stands to minister there before the Lord your God, or the judge, that man shall die. So you shall put away the evil from Israel.And all the people shall hear and fear, and no longer act presumptuously.
