You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples.You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, The sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah

Who can utter the mighty acts of the Lord? Who can declare all His praise?

“ This Moses whom they rejected, saying,‘ Who made you a ruler and a judge?’ is the one God sent to be a ruler and a deliverer by the hand of the Angel who appeared to him in the bush.He brought them out, after he had shown wonders and signs in the land of Egypt, and in the Red Sea, and in the wilderness forty years.

He brought out His people with joy, His chosen ones with gladness.

Then he remembered the days of old, Moses and his people, saying:“ Where is He who brought them up out of the sea With the shepherd of His flock? Where is He who put His Holy Spirit within them,Who led them by the right hand of Moses, With His glorious arm, Dividing the water before them To make for Himself an everlasting name,Who led them through the deep, As a horse in the wilderness, That they might not stumble?”

He made a path for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the plague,And destroyed all the firstborn in Egypt, The first of their strength in the tents of Ham.But He made His own people go forth like sheep, And guided them in the wilderness like a flock;And He led them on safely, so that they did not fear; But the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

To Him who struck Egypt in their firstborn, For His mercy endures forever;And brought out Israel from among them, For His mercy endures forever;With a strong hand, and with an outstretched arm, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who divided the Red Sea in two, For His mercy endures forever;And made Israel pass through the midst of it, For His mercy endures forever;But overthrew Pharaoh and his army in the Red Sea, For His mercy endures forever;To Him who led His people through the wilderness, For His mercy endures forever;

We have heard with our ears, O God, Our fathers have told us, The deeds You did in their days, In days of old:

For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red Sea for you when you came out of Egypt, and what you did to the two kings of the Amorites who were on the other side of the Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom you utterly destroyed.

We will not hide them from their children, Telling to the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His strength and His wonderful works that He has done.

So they said to him:“ From a very far country your servants have come, because of the name of the Lord your God; for we have heard of His fame, and all that He did in Egypt,

My soul shall make its boast in the Lord; The humble shall hear of it and be glad.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ In those days ten men from every language of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying,“ Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”’”

But they were hearing only,“ He who formerly persecuted us now preaches the faith which he once tried to destroy.”And they glorified God in me.

Nevertheless He saved them for His name’s sake, That He might make His mighty power known.He rebuked the Red Sea also, and it dried up; So He led them through the depths, As through the wilderness.He saved them from the hand of him who hated them, And redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.The waters covered their enemies; There was not one of them left.

Now when they had come and gathered the church together, they reported all that God had done with them, and that He had opened the door of faith to the Gentiles.

Then Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses.

Now Moses said to Hobab the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law,“ We are setting out for the place of which the Lord said,‘ I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the Lord has promised good things to Israel.”

So the Lord said to Moses:“ See, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.You shall speak all that I command you. And Aaron your brother shall tell Pharaoh to send the children of Israel out of his land.And I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, and multiply My signs and My wonders in the land of Egypt.But Pharaoh will not heed you, so that I may lay My hand on Egypt and bring My armies and My people, the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I stretch out My hand on Egypt and bring out the children of Israel from among them.”Then Moses and Aaron did so; just as the Lord commanded them, so they did.And Moses was eighty years old and Aaron eighty-three years old when they spoke to Pharaoh.Then the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying,“ When Pharaoh speaks to you, saying,‘ Show a miracle for yourselves,’ then you shall say to Aaron,‘ Take your rod and cast it before Pharaoh, and let it become a serpent.’”So Moses and Aaron went in to Pharaoh, and they did so, just as the Lord commanded. And Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh and before his servants, and it became a serpent.But Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers; so the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.For every man threw down his rod, and they became serpents. But Aaron’s rod swallowed up their rods.And Pharaoh’s heart grew hard, and he did not heed them, as the Lord had said.So the Lord said to Moses:“ Pharaoh’s heart is hard; he refuses to let the people go.Go to Pharaoh in the morning, when he goes out to the water, and you shall stand by the river’s bank to meet him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent you shall take in your hand.

Now Heber the Kenite, of the children of Hobab the father-in-law of Moses, had separated himself from the Kenites and pitched his tent near the terebinth tree at Zaanaim, which is beside Kedesh.

For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ has not accomplished through me, in word and deed, to make the Gentiles obedient—

When he had greeted them, he told in detail those things which God had done among the Gentiles through his ministry.And when they heard it, they glorified the Lord. And they said to him,“ You see, brother, how many myriads of Jews there are who have believed, and they are all zealous for the law;

Remember His marvelous works which He has done, His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth,

When they came to Reuel their father, he said,“ How is it that you have come so soon today?”

Then all the multitude kept silent and listened to Barnabas and Paul declaring how many miracles and wonders God had worked through them among the Gentiles.

So Moses went and returned to Jethro his father-in-law, and said to him,“ Please let me go and return to my brethren who are in Egypt, and see whether they are still alive.” And Jethro said to Moses,“ Go in peace.”

Then it shall be to Me a name of joy, a praise, and an honor before all nations of the earth, who shall hear all the good that I do to them; they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and all the prosperity that I provide for it.’

You showed signs and wonders against Pharaoh, Against all his servants, And against all the people of his land. For You knew that they acted proudly against them. So You made a name for Yourself, as it is this day.And You divided the sea before them, So that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land; And their persecutors You threw into the deep, As a stone into the mighty waters.
