I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand there in front of you by the rock at Mount Horeb. Hit the rock. Then water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses hit the rock while the elders of Israel watched.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand before you on the rock at Mount Sinai. Strike the rock, and water will come gushing out. Then the people will be able to drink.” So Moses struck the rock as he was told, and water gushed out as the elders looked on.

也都喝了一樣的靈水，所喝的是出於跟隨着他們的靈磐石；那磐石就是基督。

於是摩西遵照耶和華所吩咐他的，從耶和華面前拿了杖去。摩西和亞倫召集會眾到磐石前。摩西對他們說：「聽着，你們這些悖逆的人！我們要叫這磐石流出水來給你們嗎？」摩西舉起手來，用杖擊打磐石兩下，就有許多水流出來，會眾和他們的牲畜都喝了。

他敲開磐石，水就湧出；在乾旱之處，水流成河。

他叫磐石變為水池，使堅石變為泉源。

你從天上賜下糧食給他們充飢，使水從磐石流出給他們解渴。你吩咐他們進去，得你起誓應許要賜給他們的地。

聖靈和新娘都說：「來！」聽見的人也要說：「來！」口渴的人也要來，願意的人都可以白白取生命的水喝。

曾引領你經過那大而可怕的曠野，有火蛇、蠍子、乾旱無水之地。他也曾為你使水從堅硬的磐石中流出來，

節期的最後一天，就是最隆重的一天，耶穌站着，喊着說：「人若渴了，到我這裏來喝！信我的人，就如經上所說：『從他腹中將流出活水的江河來。』」

他在曠野使磐石裂開，多多地給他們水喝，如從深淵而出。他使水從磐石湧出，叫水如江河下流。

耶穌回答她說：「你若知道神的恩賜，和對你說『請給我水喝』的是誰，你早就會求他，他也早就會給了你活水。」

他雖曾擊打磐石，使水湧出，如江河氾濫；他還能賜糧食嗎？還能為他的百姓預備吃的肉嗎？」

誰喝我所賜的水，就永遠不渴。我所賜的水要在他裏面成為泉源，直湧到永生。」

他引導他們經過沙漠，他們卻未嘗乾渴；他為他們使水從磐石流出，磐石裂開，水就湧出。

有一道河，這河的分汊使神的城歡喜，這城就是至高者居住的聖所。

亞倫正對以色列全會眾說話的時候，他們轉向曠野，看哪，耶和華的榮光在雲中顯現。

看哪，我要行一件新事，如今就要顯明，你們豈不知道嗎？我必在曠野開道路，在沙漠開江河。野地的走獸要尊敬我，野狗和鴕鳥也必尊敬我。因我使曠野有水，使沙漠有河，好賜給我的百姓、我的選民喝。

摩西牧放他岳父米甸祭司葉特羅的羊羣，他領羊羣往曠野的那一邊去，到了神的山，就是何烈山。耶和華的使者在荊棘的火焰中向他顯現。摩西觀看，看哪，荊棘在火中焚燒，卻沒有燒燬。摩西說：「我要轉過去看這大異象，這荊棘為何沒有燒燬呢？」耶和華見摩西轉過去看，神就從荊棘裏呼叫他說：「摩西！摩西！」他說：「我在這裏。」神說：「不要靠近這裏。把你腳上的鞋脫下來，因為你所站的地方是聖地」。

困苦貧窮人尋找水，卻尋不着；他們因口渴，舌頭乾燥。我－耶和華必應允他們，我－以色列的神必不離棄他們。我要在光禿的高地開江河，在谷中開泉源；我要使沙漠變為水池，使乾地變為湧泉。
