Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

我於何烈磐上、向爾而立、爾擊斯磐、水由之出、使民得飲、摩西遂於以色列長老前行此、

我立於何烈磐上、爾至時當擊斯磐、水由之出、使民得飲、摩西行是、以色列長老目擊之。

我必在何烈磐上對爾立、爾擊磐、水必由磐出、使民得飲、摩西於以色列長老前、如是而行、

I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand there in front of you by the rock at Mount Horeb. Hit the rock. Then water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses hit the rock while the elders of Israel watched.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand before you on the rock at Mount Sinai. Strike the rock, and water will come gushing out. Then the people will be able to drink.” So Moses struck the rock as he was told, and water gushed out as the elders looked on.

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ.

So Moses took the rod from before the Lord as He commanded him.And Moses and Aaron gathered the assembly together before the rock; and he said to them,“ Hear now, you rebels! Must we bring water for you out of this rock?”Then Moses lifted his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their animals drank.

He opened the rock, and water gushed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.

Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of waters.

You gave them bread from heaven for their hunger, And brought them water out of the rock for their thirst, And told them to go in to possess the land Which You had sworn to give them.

And the Spirit and the bride say,“ Come!” And let him who hears say,“ Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

who led you through that great and terrible wilderness, in which were fiery serpents and scorpions and thirsty land where there was no water; who brought water for you out of the flinty rock;

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,“ If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”

He split the rocks in the wilderness, And gave them drink in abundance like the depths.He also brought streams out of the rock, And caused waters to run down like rivers.

Jesus answered and said to her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you,‘ Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Behold, He struck the rock, So that the waters gushed out, And the streams overflowed. Can He give bread also? Can He provide meat for His people?”

but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

And they did not thirst When He led them through the deserts; He caused the waters to flow from the rock for them; He also split the rock, and the waters gushed out.

There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, The holy place of the tabernacle of the Most High.

Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.

Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert.The beast of the field will honor Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I give waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My people, My chosen.

Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed.Then Moses said,“ I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.”So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said,“ Moses, Moses!” And he said,“ Here I am.”Then He said,“ Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.”

“ The poor and needy seek water, but there is none, Their tongues fail for thirst. I, the Lord, will hear them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.I will open rivers in desolate heights, And fountains in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land springs of water.
