Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and water will come out of it, so that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

我必在何烈磐上對爾立、爾擊磐、水必由磐出、使民得飲、摩西於以色列長老前、如是而行、

I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand there in front of you by the rock at Mount Horeb. Hit the rock. Then water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses hit the rock while the elders of Israel watched.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand before you on the rock at Mount Sinai. Strike the rock, and water will come gushing out. Then the people will be able to drink.” So Moses struck the rock as he was told, and water gushed out as the elders looked on.

and all drank the same spiritual drink, for they were drinking from a spiritual rock which followed them; and the rock was Christ.

So Moses took the staff from before the Lord, just as He had commanded him;and Moses and Aaron summoned the assembly in front of the rock. And he said to them,“ Listen now, you rebels; shall we bring water for you out of this rock?”Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff; and water came out abundantly, and the congregation and their livestock drank.

He opened the rock and water flowed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.

Who turned the rock into a pool of water, The flint into a fountain of water.

You provided bread from heaven for them for their hunger, You brought out water from a rock for them for their thirst, And You told them to enter in order to take possession of The land which You swore to give them.

The Spirit and the bride say,“ Come.” And let the one who hears say,“ Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires, take the water of life without cost.

He who led you through the great and terrible wilderness, with its fiery serpents and scorpions, and its thirsty ground where there was no water; He who brought water for you out of the rock of flint.

Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying,“ If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.The one who believes in Me, as the Scripture said,‘ From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.’ ”

He split the rocks in the wilderness And gave them plenty to drink like the ocean depths.He brought forth streams from the rock And made waters run down like rivers.

Jesus replied to her,“ If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you,‘ Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.”

Behold, He struck the rock so that waters gushed out, And streams were overflowing; Can He also provide bread? Will He prepare meat for His people?”

but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life.”

They did not thirst when He led them through the deserts. He made the water flow out of the rock for them; He split the rock and the water gushed out.

There is a river whose streams make the city of God happy, The holy dwelling places of the Most High.

And it came about, as Aaron spoke to the entire congregation of the sons of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.

Behold, I am going to do something new, Now it will spring up; Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a roadway in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.The animals of the field will glorify Me, The jackals and the ostriches, Because I have given waters in the wilderness And rivers in the desert, To give drink to My chosen people.

Now Moses was pasturing the flock of his father in law Jethro, the priest of Midian; and he led the flock to the west side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God.Then the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush; and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not being consumed.So Moses said,“ I must turn aside and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burning up!”When the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said,“ Moses, Moses!” And he said,“ Here I am.”Then He said,“ Do not come near here; remove your sandals from your feet, for the place on which you are standing is holy ground.”

“ The poor and needy are seeking water, but there is none, And their tongues are parched with thirst. I, the Lord, will answer them Myself; As the God of Israel I will not abandon them.I will open rivers on the bare heights, And springs in the midst of the valleys; I will make the wilderness a pool of water, And the dry land fountains of water.
